Again, at the airport, no lives were in danger, no one was physically assaulted or injured. The cops acted correctly and professionally under the circumstances.

If this happened in New York, Boston, or Chicago, even if the agitated party was a member of Obama’s inner temple, there would be automatic weapons involved. And somebody would end up lying face-down with handcuffs behind the back.

Thomas Friedman want’s the US to be like China for this very reason. He wants police and security to be so impressed with position that they are afraid to do their jobs because the eventual result would be imprisonment or at the very least, poverty.

Oh, and he wants the US to be like China because he believes he would be in the position of the party member. Nothing is so attractive to a leftist as being able to throw a petulant fit with impunity.

What is really surprising is all the people standing around, and nobody doing anything. If somebody tried that in an American airport, including smashing the airline’s computers on the ground and trying to smash the doors, he’d have three or four burly uniformed cops cuffing him and loading him into the paddy-wagon long before 4 minutes were up in this film.
