Heh – you should check out “environmental justice” – it is exactly what you described . . . how do we make up to the po folks in the ghetto for the dirty air and water? Lisa Jackson, the last EPA director who had to leave in a hurry to avoid scandal about her multiple email aliases, championed this when she headed up New Jersey’s Environmental Department.

It’s very worrisome that O and cronies are running around giving money to get compliance from local governments. It’s difficult to get many people worked up about local issues, especially in rural areas. Too many folks are naive about local government. I watched it change over many years in eastern Maryland and I don’t want to see the same thing happen in my Blue Ridge paradise. :)

Acutally the phrase was “Save your Confederate money, boys, the South is gonna rise again”. And the way they are debasing the dollar, it just might be true very soon.

I know I may be going out on a limb here, but, he may just try something crazy like that :o/

One that comes to mind is the FEMA State Hazard Mitigation Program. It’s been in place for years, and is directed at local governments. Ask any State emergency management agency director.

I’d love to see how many local officials point this out to the Federal busy bodies tramping around the country, repeating the obvious.

Central, and I mean CENTRAL, to the theory was the ipcc claim of a proven causal correlation between CO2 & temps. That was actually very easy to debunk (just look at a graph showing CO2 & temps!). Yet hardly anyone knows this about CO2. We need to spread the word on this, and one way is to share and promote this succinct video which quickly demonstrates the obvious fallacy (.. deception) of the now retracted ipcc position.

There’s nothing wrong with the climate (no hockey stick), and there is no evidence that CO2 has anything to do with it. Indeed, the warmists now cling to the rather tenuous position that CO2 is both an effect and a cause of warming which would very likely spawn a runaway greenhouse. In the past CO2 reached as high as 7000ppm, but there was no runaway greenhouse effect, or we wouldn’t be here!

He spoke at length about the push toward “regionalization” as a way of implementing Agenda 21 and bypassing congress.

It was a chilling program, especially when the dots are connected between, for example, Andrew Cuomo as former HUD point person and some of the policy implementation he oversaw. Cuomo is trying to enforce regionalization in NYS. Between him and his brother, Chris, who now has a top spot at CNN, the connection back to the POS in the WH is crystal clear.

Here is something that the greenies would be hard pressed to refute. All of that water could be saved and recycled, and used to water lawns. Now, of course, they hate lawns especially suburban lawns, and they hate people using rain barrel water instead of paying a fee for the town water.

Mostly you find they get in the way of people wanting to recapture water, or divert water. Or they want all water to have to go to the government water treatment plant.

So, privately, people should start capturing water and saving it for nice green lawns and healthy plants, so that drought could be a thing of the past. There is no way worse to make a liberal mad, than to water your plants in a drought, with water you have “recaptured.” They would rather you use your hose and pay a fine.

This would be anti climate change empowerment.

And they care not. It is a sad tale of a country who invented so much that helped the world that it succumbed to left-wing zealots and cranks who can’t really do anything…other than pat themselves on the back

More states will experience what Texas and the Dakotas have gotten for years. manufacturing will move to the freer states, along with gun owners and other small government types. The jobs will follow, all leading up to making some states more self sufficient than others. And strong alliances between like minded states.

What is that old saying? Something like; “The south will rise again”.
