The Democratic leaders have shown their incompetence as manager. Does Napolitano really believe it is more important to lay off boarder patrol agency rather then to cut back on 16 million rounds of ammunition or support for her over seas training facilities.

Has Janet Incompetano ever apologized to the family and friends of Bob Krentz?
He was a rancher who owned and operated a large border cattle ranch operation and was murdered on his property.
Krentz was a gentleman and friend to everyone.
Shot several times. His neighbors trailed the perpetrator and closing in on him ready to 'bring him to justice'. (Or just prep him for a dirt nap and food for worms.) BUT were told by CBP, et al, to cease and desist and 'let the government' handle the situation.
The killer then made his way across the border, never to be seen again.
Yea Janet nice work, you’re a perfect fit for King Putt and the Affirmative Action Administration.

OK, so a 2.5% cut is going to furlough 5,000 border agents? Let's see, that would mean that we employ a minimum of 200,000 border agents? And, border agents are what percentage of DHS employees - maybe 15-20%? So, there are 1 million DHS employees, minimum? Hmmm, I think I begin to see our problem here......

(Oh, and that 2.5% cut is really a 5% growth, so......)

We live along the Lake Huron shoreline in Michigan, with Canada 40 miles to the East. On the road that runs along the lake, on a daily basis I see the green and white late model Dodge Charger border patrol cars parked at the scenic overlooks, etc., with the agent presumably taking a nap (it's hard to tell because the windows are tinted dark). I'm assuming I won't be seeing this after the end of the week?

<blockquote>It was the story of the past election. You have reached a tipping point where over 50% of electorate are takers. The only thing that solves that is crash and rebirth.

Or serious people making the hard leadership calls.

The rat-eared wonder met with the US Governors today and albeit along partisan lines it was pointed out that governors do not have the luxury of simply printing more money and/or borrowing.

Sequestration looms and the President says it is a bad idea. He's been fearmongering for over two weeks now about the issue. Yet he has yet to extend one idea for resolution. He and his party simply want to increase taxes on the successful yet again so the parasites feel no pain. I think that needs to change. If we are to view these parasites, moochers, and takers as equal citizens then they too must sacrifice. If that isn't the case, then they do not deserve to be part of the electoral process any more than a mentally disabled individual. You've got to contribute to society to have a say in its future. Worrying about the future of your Obamaphone benefits is not contributing to society.

It was the story of the past election.

He’s been fearmongering for over two weeks now about the issue. Yet he has yet to extend one idea for resolution. He and his party simply want to increase taxes on the successful yet again so the parasites feel no pain. I think that needs to change. If we are to view these parasites, moochers, and takers as equal citizens then they too must sacrifice. If that isn’t the case, then they do not deserve to be part of the electoral process any more than a mentally disabled individual. You’ve got to contribute to society to have a say in its future. Worrying about the future of your Obamaphone benefits is not contributing to society.

<blockquote>This is the same crap Dems trot out at the state and local levels whenever they don’t get the tax increases they want and have to “tighten the belt”. Honestly, my first thought when the lazy rat-eared one rolled out that riff about teachers and losing their jobs was- why is the federal government paying for a single teacher? Education is a local/state issue.

That being said, we do have federal fire fighters. In the US Forest Service and on military bases are two examples that come to mind. But of course, the rat-eared wonder was doing a variation of the Chicago mantra....

Nice house you go there, be a shame if something happened to it.
