The Democratic leaders have shown their incompetence as manager. Does Napolitano really believe it is more important to lay off boarder patrol agency rather then to cut back on 16 million rounds of ammunition or support for her over seas training facilities.

So, a 2.5% cut (if it were a real cut) would furlough … 500 people in ICE and <1,500 in CBP. And only some portion of those are border agents.

(Oh, and that 2.5% cut is really a 5% growth, so……)

The rat-eared wonder met with the US Governors today and albeit along partisan lines it was pointed out that governors do not have the luxury of simply printing more money and/or borrowing.

Sequestration looms and the President says it is a bad idea. He’s been fearmongering for over two weeks now about the issue. Yet he has yet to extend one idea for resolution. He and his party simply want to increase taxes on the successful yet again so the parasites feel no pain. I think that needs to change. If we are to view these parasites, moochers, and takers as equal citizens then they too must sacrifice. If that isn’t the case, then they do not deserve to be part of the electoral process any more than a mentally disabled individual. You’ve got to contribute to society to have a say in its future. Worrying about the future of your Obamaphone benefits is not contributing to society.

This is the same crap Dems trot out at the state and local levels whenever they don’t get the tax increases they want and have to “tighten the belt”. Suddenly cops and fire fighters will soon be in short supply. The massive bureaucracies never get touched.

Honestly, my first thought when the lazy rat-eared one rolled out that riff about teachers and losing their jobs was- why is the federal government paying for a single teacher? Education is a local/state issue.

That being said, we do have federal fire fighters. In the US Forest Service and on military bases are two examples that come to mind. But of course, the rat-eared wonder was doing a variation of the Chicago mantra….
