And like I said, I’m beginning to see little benefit in this absorption of angry rants and ‘truths’ (which they undoubtedly are), if it isn’t followed up by serious, concrete action on our parts which is what’s lacking on our side of politics. The Tea Party is but a mosquito of a movement compared to that movement which hasn’t even begun. But we like waiting for the other guy to start it, waiting for a savior to come along, all the while stewing. Doing nada.

Rush is the response to the liberal media’s propaganda. He exists for the people that are looking for the truth.

The TEA Party has the GOP elitists on the run. They know it and they do not like it.

I, the AWE inspiring Danno Mann waits for NO splinter gatherer. Instead I remain very involved, working to do as much good as possible.

In the end it is all about being involved. Rush plays his part as do the TEA Party patriots. Because Americans foolishly believe that politics is a spectator sport they WILL get the government they deserve.

Here is a gentle reminder – all of the dems followers are going to get mighty angry when the money runs out. We realize there are no free lunches. But what thes jerks in Washington are doing is providing great opportunities for us to profit from this – and for our children.

For instance, the low government back home mortgage rates are not available to most of the dems backers because their credit sucks. But for us, not a problem. So invest in yourself and your family. The modern media we decry and wonder how in the hell they survive. But quietly, they are beginning to hemmorage money – real money. WashPo and NYT are dropping people and losing money – CNN is surviving on crumbs from their parent – they have no audience (hey Koch bros. – go and try to get CNN and replace its editorial staff with conservatives, it would be a start). NBC is flailing – falling behind Univsion and FOX. You think their embrace of MSNBC and all the other garbage on their news isn’t hurting them? They are owned by Comcast? You can eliminate them by getting rid of their cable and internet services.

It is bad – and I am afraid a reckoning may be coming – but it is coming for those who have their hand out. In the end – we will own most of the stuff because we have the ability to buy it. And we already own most of the guns – so when they come to try and take it they will be met. And your local police and National Guard Units will probably be on our side anyway, so let the left feel they have this taken care of.

It is a house of cards and it will come down – soon. Bankrupt liberal cities – Detroit, and coming up fast in the mirror CHicago. Not to mention bankrupt cities in blue states of California and Pennsylvania. And of course California and Illinois themselves. The end game is coming – just not as the left thinks. Europe is crumbling. Reality is about to get reintroduced.

Prepare by enriching yourself and your family so you can enjoy the rebirth from a position of financial strength.

That we intuitively know the mentally weak and hands out crowd will end up being hurt, and that we have a way that will (and historically has) led to success and a fulfilled life, makes it frustrating to hear the libs talk. But so be it.

The point I’m making is about changing culture and affecting the direction of the country by winning elections. Someone upthread said this, but Breitbart is the only modern conservative who got this. Buckley got it. Reagan got it big time.

Some things a lot of people don’t know or have forgotten (I only learned recently, see “Dutch” by Edmund Morris):
— Reagan was an active student of economics and politics from the beginning of his adult career, and had an interest in these subjects even as a teen;
— Reagan turned away from an early flirtation with socialism and American Communists after he learned about their true (and mostly hidden) purposes and saw how amoral and unethical they were;
— Reagan served very successfully as an executive officer for many years (Screen Actors Guild president and California governor);
— in the decades (yes, tens of years) before running for President, Reagan covered the entire United States making speeches ostensibly as a PR shill for GE, but actually lectured about the importance of America’s foundational values – as a result, he had a huge, positive constituency for his campaign before he even started.

Although we might find conservatives who can check off the first three qualifications, no one in the Republican party has the fourth advantage now.

IMO they’ve butchered his legacy at at his namesake website. Kicking out Dana Loesch was dumb.

One thing often forgotten about the Great One is that he is an active lawyer. His Landmark Legal Foundation has fought several big battles, including the Az immigration law and obamacare.

Recently they won a big victory over obama’s illegal recess appointments.

Good, I like Levin. He should keep fighting all of Obama’s encroachments on liberty. You could hardly listen to Levin for more than 30 min without knowing he was a lawyer in the Reagan administration.

Yes, it’s good to have them. Just to remember it’s often a business of egos. Beck is bright and innovative. He’s also an as*hole. What he did to Breitbart over the Sherrod story was low. He was jealous of Andrew’s growing celebrity (while Andrew had no jealousy of anybody — he just wanted to win the war). Levin seems more like a regular guy.

Glenn Beck is most certainly not what I’d call a whiner. The guy was and is action-oriented. He demonstrated to us all what a lone determined man can do. And boy, did that Glenn Beck have all the power brokers in media and Liberal circles (and the blushing ballerinas aka RINO’s) apesh*t. Like Andrew Breitbart. And this is why it would serve us all to encourage our children to go into professional fields vastly underrepresented by Conservatives. The fields that influence public opinion. (before the indoctrination begins).

I happen to be a huge Mark Levin follower (perhaps you are, too;) and boy, he sure makes my mood grow sour after some time that I have to turn the radio off. Like you, LF, I’ve been engaged in letter-writing campaigns and made the calls during election season, as well as countless calls/e-mails to our reps in congress (and not just to those in my home state). The office clerk who picks up the phone is usually bored and annoyed.

It’s painfully true that we just can’t amount to anything remotely organized that is a force to be reckoned with, and I wonder why. Sure, the reason is sabotage in certain segments, but there’s also a sad unwillingness in our ranks that has become numb, masochistic, and shutting down if they haven’t already. Getting rolled is the norm. That’s the real reason they’re winning.

1. As listens2glenn pointed out that unwillingness comes from GOP leaders. THis is the first major problem. Fighting the GOPe. THe last 2 cycles we got 2 moderates and Boner leading the House. There’s a good chance that Palin didn’t run due to having to fight the GOPe as much as I wish she had taken on that fight. The left doesn’t have this problem, as the moderates don’t win out.

2. You left out the role of the lamestream media. They have played a huge whole in this country going straight to h@ll. Just look at the coverage during the elections. This is yet another reason why Rush, Levin, and Beck are needed now more than ever.

3. It’s great that you’ve gotten involved, please don’t get discouraged… I plan on supporting conservatives at all levels for the rest of my life.

4. The internet and talk radio is a great outlet for us. Beck is on to something with the Blaze network. I’ve called Directv trying to get them to add it on (as The Blaze is now only on DishNetwork). We need a network like this which isn’t controlled like Foxnews is. Beck and others can speak the truth without fear of being reprimanded for it.

The “sad unwillingness” seems to be coming from the elected Republican leaders. NOT the Republican “grass-roots.”

The grassroots on our side is nowhere near where it should be in relation to the serious problems plaguing our country today, which points to a frightening conclusion that people do not want to get involved because they feel it is hopeless. Independents don’t appear to want to get involved. Not having time is a poor excuse. Everyone has time to do something. As for the elected Repubs, heh, did you read this article by Angelo Codevilla from Forbes yesterday?

Every Christian should withdraw any support of Hollywood in every fashion. Do not associate with anyone on the left. Refuse to patronage any business that supports the left in any fashion. They should all leave blue states and move to the red.

That sort of skull cracking although it doesn’t really matter because it is too late now.

Came back the next night with a ‘defender’. Both got put down.

And I think very highly of myself, I think I know alot. However Rush and especially Levin have educated me on so much.
