It’s not too surprising that Obama doesn’t want to associate himself with Carter’s legacy. It’s difficult to see why anyone would.

I think you’re missing the forest for all the trees. You, like Democrats and RINOS, are not realizing that the Obama Administration is not just another Democrat administration. There is something much more unsettling about the Obama Administration. And the sooner you realize this, the sooner Obama’s “alone-ness” makes sense. He is not a traditional Democrat “devoted to the working poor”… he is a fascist bent on changing America into something else. That is why he doesn’t quite mesh with existing Democrat leaders, or communicate often with the press (other than to campaign or attack others), or practice transparency, or consult with Congress, or… do I really need to go on until you “get it”?
