Of course it would be foolish to take Obama lightly in this but the reality that the Dems can't bring themselves to acknowledge is that no matter how much Obama tries to campaign for other Dems the "magic" only works when he's at the top of the ticket.
So I guess we again need Sarah Palin to get involved and prove her King Maker credentials once more. The Willard benchwarming supporters[?] will not like that one bit.

“His attention has gone from getting himself elected to keeping the majority in the Senate and winning the majority in the House,” Westmoreland said in an interview, paraphrasing his remarks.

Huh? Has Westmoreland even bothered to learn what 0bama has been up to lately? The ‘community organizing’ guy is busy making the case for the NEXT Historic TEAnami!

The real problem STILL lays with apathetic Americans who REFUSE to do any thing to correct America’s problems. That remains chrystal clear, so for the few who have decided that the time to stop being bench warmers has arrived, you should begin here IF you are REALLY WORRIED about being screwed. Then, IF you agree with Brent Bozell’s summation AND you sill have that fire in your belly, you need to start looking for the closest TEA Party group to your location and go to one of their meetings. The winners of elections owe allegiance only to those who worked to get the votes for them, no matter how close the margin of victory.

It is SO EASY to get involved today! I had realized that if I weren’t willing to get involved then I deserved the worst the corrupt-o-crats could deliver. That is why I am AGAIN going to the MIGOP Convention as THE elected delegate from my township [for the fourth time], which is being held later this month. I can promise you that the politicians there will be made MOST UNCOMFORTABLE when I confront them and there will be absolutely no doubt in their minds as to whose ass they will have to kiss [as Allahpundit so colorfully likes to put it].

NEVER FORGET! America ALWAYS gets the government it DESERVES, and whiners win nothing!

Speaking of gun control, I remember when they passed the Brady Bill and I was surprised at how many times I heard the counter-argument; that we don’t need more laws we need better enforcement of the laws we already have.

That simple logic seems to have lost its venom.

There is no logic in what they're doing. Get this, Colorado is home to the largest 30 round magazine producer Magpul. They threatened to move their operations out of colorado if a ban on 30 round magazines were to pass taking $85 million in future 2013 spending as well as 200 jobs with them so what did the Dems here do? Amend the bill to allow them to continue making the magazine as long as they're not sold to Coloradans. So per libtard logic, 30 round magazines are too dangerous to be sold to law abiding Coloradans but not dangerous enough that Colorado state democrats are willing to give up the tax revenue generated by the deadly magazines.

Fluke these damn liberals. Hypocritical hacks. All of them!

I think you might be right. 2014 is when Obamacare taxes fully kick in, so Obama will stack those middle class tax hikes like hotcakes on top of the elimination of the payroll tax holiday, and other taxes Obama has coming.

But hey, the majority of the electorate voted for him, so they should be made to pay for him.

Wish I had your confidence, but I don't. This nation is already a shell of its former self. Liberals have indoctrinated generations of Americans already in our schools, and now we are about to legalize millions of illegal liberals. Barring a miracle, we are done.

They just passed a magazine ban of more than 15 rounds in the Colorado House tonight. It’s likely Colorado democrats are going to get everything they want in regards to gun control. If they retain power in 2014 after this, I’m gone. Moving to WY or ID. So sick of this sh!t.

You are all forgetting Obama's tactics. He doesnt have to push Democrats over the finish line to win back the House....he just has to keep leaning on the cracks in the GOP. By 2014, their will be a full on split between conservatives and the party elites.

Id be surprised if the Republicans dont sabotage themselves right into minority status.

The GOP leadership is inept, incompetent, and invertebrate. I put no amount of losing out of their reach.

2008 could have been a (sandra) fluke; a perfect storm of half the nation sick of the cowboy who lost his pea-pickin' mind in his latter term.

But 2012 was no accident. Even accounting for a very lackluster R candidate, America deliberately chose Chimpy Disasterpants for a 2nd term. And there is a move afoot to repeal the 2-term limit. Make of THAT what you may.

I used to laugh at the people that sited the "emerging Democrat majority". Then the last election happened. Now I'm a believer. I think the GOP will lose seats but probably keep a majority. I shudder to think of what this country will look like in 12 years however.

There are just too many brainless, useless indoctrinated idiots in this country and their numbers grow larger by the day.
