Back in the day, when we got overly pestered by some foreign type who had nothing of value but kept calling anyway…would tell them to meet us at Ty’s.

Isn’t soda itself a dangerous cause of obesity?

So let’s say the 32 ounce ban doesn’t work. What next banning 16 ounce drinks? Banning 12 ounce drinks? What about 8 ounce sizes?

Shouldn’t soda drinkers have to “cower” like smokers and gun owners?

What if we just made anything but water illegal? And then only allowed 32 ounces of water to be consumed a day. You would stand in line for 2 hours in the morning for your allocation from the city and that would be it for the day. Resale of the water would be a criminal offense of course. Then when you’re dependent on the city for your water, why not have the city/state/federal beast pick out your food for you? I mean really, we’re too freaking stoopid to make those choices right? And why not have the Mayor pick out our clothes (that are environmentally friendly). Better yet, why don’t we all just go to work naked, and never take baths (to save water of course).

And while we’re at it should we all just live in the public provided housing? And furniture, SURELY we are not smart enough to make the right choice about our sofa and chairs? We might be a product from half way around the world (carbon used to bring it to us) instead of our state issued cot and table. And in the Fall could we get the city to all issue us an umbrella for the rainy season? And since we’d all be naked at the offices it surely would be okay to have sex in public right? We’re all animals right Mayor?

I’m thinking Bloomberg 4.0 might involve the city issuing its very own environmentally friendly mugs. Twelve ounces, fully biodegradable, mandatory use.

Oh no. Mandatory purchase by New Yorkers of those reusable, closeable travel mugs. They can be used for more than just coffee.

Exit question: Could the city maybe use the styrofoam to build the sort of hurricane sea wall that Bloomberg’s been studiously neglecting for more than a decade?

At least Nanny Bloomberg has his priorities.

We should move immediately to end this urgent threat to our citizens!
