If by “we” they mean “Rove and company,” in this particular instance… then: spot on, absolutely.

There’s a simple, easy way to remedy that particular problem, of course… or: we could always do the demonstrably counter-intuitive thing again, same as always, and see how much more of our rapidly dwindling voting base we can piddle away over the next four years, all in the name of “moderation” or what-have-you.

I definitely know which way I’d be voting. ;)
