Huh? Penalties need to be “stiffer”? Are they going to advocate the death penalty for illegal possession? Here’s a thought, maybe the higher echelons of the Chicago PD need to be cleaned out and new people brought in.

Or arm the citizens of Chicago. That would probably do a great deal to ‘curb the gang problem’.

But that would show citizens that they CAN do something on their own to address problems.

Let’s go back and look at those penalties.

Obama is in a unique position to address this issue, directly, to black kids in Chicago, and make a difference, unlike so many other stupid things he’s used the bully pulpit for, he could do something here.

Even that is a lie. Chicago, though it had over 500 murders in 2012 isn’t close to the record. They had many years over 900 in the late 80′s and early 90′s.

The entire article is based on fantasy. They just spout that crap off as if it is true.

It’s the same argument with gun control. Their solution to gun violence is not addressing the underlying culture rot. It’s embracing the rot and restricting the means by which increasing numbers of amoral people can kill each other.
