Yup. We were proudly walking along the main street in the heart of the People’s Republic of San Francisco!

That we walked within sight of Nancy Pelosi’s local Congressional office was an added bonus.

And the rally before the walk was right in front of San Francisco’s City Hall where the most liberal of all liberals get their start in politics.

When the Walk For Life West Coast began about 8 or 9 years ago with about 5,000 pro-life walkers, there were hundreds of pro-abortion counter protesters along the route. But we just ignored them as we walked quietly past them.

Since the counter-protesters never received the attention they craved, most of them stopped coming. The growth of the walk to tens of thousands of pro-lifers also helped to run the counter-protesters off. So at this year’s Walk For Life, I only saw about 50 counter-protesters, which is a pathetic turnout for liberals in San Francisco.

When we stand our ground, we can outflank the liberals! Yes we can!

I can’t blame you for staying away from California, but do enjoy the glimmer of hope that the Walk For Life provides each January in San Francisco.

I don’t expect much from Drudge, who is a news aggregator at heart.

The continual on-air sniping between LSDNC and Fox in prime time is very annoying. Looney Larry, Special Ed and Mr. Maddow attack Fox and conservatives in a virtual echo chamber with no dissident voices; while Bill, Sean and Greta go after MSNBC (and the rest of the MSM) and liberals in the same way. Only difference is that Fox has a big stable of liberal talking heads but the product isn’t that different. Both are highly annoying and unwatchable.

It wasn’t a matter of Fox even being a good first try. They were okay at first, but degenerated into something that isn’t helping anyone, all the while fighting playing on the defensive 24/7. I didn’t leave Fox… Fox left me.

It’s behavioral. Conservatives feel a need to defend themselves ever since Ted Kennedy went Borking in 1987, while liberals just love to defame, lie and accuse conservatives of engaging in everything including murder, Today, both sides feed off of each other.

Again, you aren’t going to get any change from the sources of ‘information’ that exist. New ones simply have to be created, and the old guard simply has to be destroyed. I’d rather the new sources come from totally unlikely sources (I.e., Breitbart).

It was a beautiful day in San Francisco with so many people taking the time to show their support for life.

There were lots of families with children on the walk. My favorite sign was one that was held by lots of young kids (age 8-ish to teenagers)that said:

I am the pro-life generation.

There were also several handmade signs on toddlers’ strollers that quoted Dr. Suess’s Horton:

A person is a person, no matter how small.

And if the Republican party wants to earn the votes of Hispanic voters, they better start paying attention to the pro-life movement so the party leaders can see how many people from the Hispanic community are strongly pro-life.

I saw several signs that had variations of the message:

I vote pro-life first.

EWTN commentators noted they offer feeds to the MSM, which are not used. They expect zero coverage.

On Friday. I watched some EWTN coverage of a Mass for Life. Heard a song ‘Here I am Lord’ which I was new to me, but apparently big in Catholic services. If they played that song on the MSM, people might start going over the hill, it was so moving.

The MSM has to suppress this. The truth is too powerful

Allow Newsbusters and talk radio, et al, to aim an eye on the Socialists (not even factoring Fox into the equation). But Heritage is the only think tank I can think of that specifically espouses conservatism and conservative ideas on a daily basis.

again kind of missing my point. You don’t see CBS or NBC or even MSNBC tracking and reporting what the conservative media is doing reporting etc. they are setting the narrative they could care less about keeping tabs on the conservative media. yet the conservative media does nothing but track the MSM…why? Who cares what the liberal media reports. They will report the libral view of things. we know that. They won’t report the conservative side of it. So if we want to get out ideology out we must ignore the liberal media and start our own. Like Glenn beck TV or even drudge report. The march of dimes is a good example. why should we wait and expect Pravda to report it? We should be reporting it ourselves.

life isn’tfair. We can’t expect the media to be. Since they have been totally takeover by liberal/socialists its time to leave them in the dustbin like Pravda and start our own media. Foxnews was a good fisrt try. But they are slowly being taken over by socialists because that elites are and have always been socialists. we should know this. We fought a war in 1776 because at that time our founders understood classes and elites were the problem and the masses were the answer.

agreed but its not because they are stupid its just that they believe they are right. Throughout history you have people that wish to control and be controlled. those in the present day are known as libs. those people can’t be helped. they don’t want to have control over their lives and hate people that do want that control over themselves. Those people won’t change. It’s like asking the lords and ladies to lay down with the serfs…. not going to happen. However the vast majority of people want to be free. If we didn’t the human population would still think slavary was a good thing. For those people it is up to conservatives to teach them and/or explain to them that their freedom is contingent on giving conservatism victory and throwing out the libs who want to make them slaves…

These people aren’t “low information” voters. they have made a choice based on the information they have. the problem is not the voters but the leaders.

I didn’t see any “Hot Air” posts on Friday about the March for life. Pretty sure this is the first mention. Why the silence until now?

I actually consider that whole generation a clear and present threat to the nation at large. After the election, I cut off contact with several people because they were blind Obama zombies. One falling out (of which I have mentioned on here before) was very ugly… I have refused to speak to this person and feel totally uncomfortable being in the same room with them. Chances are there will never be amends.

Bitter? Possibly. But people like those are totally impenetrable.

I then made a post about it on Facebook. No one seemed upset that the news media continually edits the news not simply in content but in coverage. Yet, the somnambulant public seems to stumble along willingingly. The Bill of Rights contains 27 amendments, of which about 17 are about us, the rest are rules of governing. It will be easy for this administration to pick them off one at a time and the media (like the corrupt clergy of the 15th Century) will be happily complicit with the downfall…until they’re in jail too.
