Well, it’s been almost 24 hours now, and none of them did.

If the media doesn’t dispense all of his propaganda as he sees fit and if it doesn’t present all of his criticism of his political opposition exactly as he sees fit and as often as he deems necessary, the media is part of the problem and it is aiding and abetting his enemies.

Paranoid Chicago Way politicians require total loyalty and unequivocal support from everyone. So do authoritarian totalitarian dictators.

Comrade Chairman Obama thinks that if US media was more like Soviet era Pravda things would be better. Comrades Lenin and Stalin and Mao would all agree with him.

Imagine a Republican President talking like this about the media. Imagine the reaction in the media.

In Dear Leader’s delusional doublespeak PC world the media is too supportive of his political opposition.

I don’t doubt that conservatism is by far the better of two political philosophies, but I do wonder about the veracity of your statement. Much, but not all of this site seems to be dedicated to sound bite politics where real intellectual argument is absent.

Frankly, I doubt that many could actually list conservative principles let alone practice them.

Liberals are irked by the fact that the media still give a nod to impartiality by acknowledging another argument exists. They want their arguments treated like fact.

A prime example would be the media doing a segment on climate change then featuring a quick sound bite of a republican saying climate change doesnt exist. To liberals, thats akin to the media doing the story on the holocaust then featuring a clip of an imam saying the holocaust never happened.

They want their liberal views seen as fact, not as an opinion that allows for alternative viewpoint.

I agree. The left owns the entertainment media, the news media, academia, the legal profession, K-12 education, and the bureaucracy at all levels of government. All the pathways to transforming the culture are firmly under their control.

I hate to break it to you, but we don’t have time to play nice. We don’t need to adopt their tactics–we need to jump shift past them to the next level. This may involve some “wet work” eventually.

This is not the moral equivalent of war: politics IS war and the Dems know this and act accordingly. The GOP either has not grasped this yet, or is unwilling to admit to themselves that the same old game is rapidly coming to an end. Let Obama have what he wants–fiscally–while preparing the battle space for when TSHTF. These people must be destroyed, not simply stymied politically. Leftism must be obliterated. If it takes another civil war, so be it.

A fringe benefit of the left’s ambitions of reducing the military to marching band status will severely limit their ability to keep the masses under their thumb should some decide to leave the union.

I propose that we let him proceed with this plan. So long as we have enough nukes to deter opportunistic communist or jihadist countries, I’ll roll the dice that they wouldn’t have the temerity to ever drop one in their own back yard over a divorce.

Of course, the ruling elite will be jet setting around with 500 of their closest friends going to 5 star resorts and eating all the prawns and lobster in the country.

They, of course will also have their “seperate but equal healthcare, pensions and security.
