The best hope for the GOP is Hillary decides she’s doesn’t the fire to run. Yeah, I think there’s a 1% chance of that. With that said, if she doesn’t, Biden would be the likely nom. There is so much film on him to remind americans what a complete idiot he is… His age works against him as well, as they would paint him a crazy old man (which he is). The MMS would be having to defend his gaffes on a daily basis, which makes me think they would probably back another candidate. The old Biden being Biden argument won’t play running for president.

If the Clintons run, it will be a furious campaign. They are ruthless as they come. The only reason they held back on Obama, was that he was black. Bill still has a ton of energy, and push Hillary all they way to 1600 Penn if he has to.

Agreed. She’s radioactive and even she knows it. Her fans however are still deluded.

They better hope that Clinton runs because that is probably the only way that the Democrats retain control of the White House. The rule of eight years suggests otherwise unless the demographics mean no Republican can win ever. Hopefully, whatever Rubio and Ryan are cooking up on immigration will neutralize the issue and get the Rs a fair hearing with the Latino community. As Rubio said, it is really hard to talk to a community about education and opportunity if they think you want to deport Grandma.

As for the debate, the only way that Ryan could have shut Biden up is by throwing water in his face or punching him. I’m sure that Hot Air partisans would have cheered that, but it would have ended Ryan’s political career, not to mention the fact that he probably would have got to spend the night in jail for assaulting the sitting VP.
