Video: The obligatory “Michelle Obama rolls her eyes at Boehner” clip

posted at 6:01 pm on January 21, 2013 by Allahpundit

Via Sooper Mexican, you can tell the left’s feeling good today by the fact that there are liberal publications trumpeting this too. I kind of like it just because it’s true to the real spirit of the moment. For all the forced chumminess between the two sides, that eyeroll is a perfect summation of the Lightbringer’s approach to the GOP since, oh, at least last January. While he was up there today intoning about the glory of America and how the only way to stay true to the Founders’ vision is to subvert it while paying lip service to it, Mona Charen was keeping her eye on the ball:

We interrupt this orgy of Obama worship to recall that his campaign huddled early in 2012 and reflected that they could not run on his first-term record. Accordingly, the strategy was “Kill Romney.” Congratulations. That what we’re celebrating today.

They killed him and now the new task is to kill the GOP by implying that they want to starve children or, at least, let them be murdered occasionally in the name of protecting gun rights. Why clink glasses under those circumstances? If I found myself seated next to Harry Reid or Pelosi and forced to make small talk, I’d turn into Jim Carrey at the hotel bar in “Dumb and Dumber” within five minutes. FLOTUS’s reaction is the first and probably last honest moment you’ll see from either side all day. It beats listening to a phony lecture about “name-calling” from President Above The Fray, no?

It would also lead all of the network news shows tomorrow morning and tomorrow night, with long, lingering video of her sloppin’ it in, while some catchy music played in the background, like Sir Mix-a-Lot’s “Baby Got Back,” and then the democrat talking heads would laugh and laugh…if she were a Republican First Lady.

What a classless disgusting couple.

Notice the pos is wiping his nose and not eating too much. Must be that coke. No problem. The pos’s beard eats enough for 100.

Barbarians in the WH.

Check her tasteless non-existent table manners; arm resting on table, darting down to the plate like a pig scoffing down chow instead of placing food on fork and raising it to her mouth like civilized people.

And the pos picking his nose and wiping away the residue.
Absolutely nauseating. And I bet they’re both stinky

wyntre on January 21, 2013 at 6:13 PM

Michelle “Aunt Esther” 0dumba let’s us know that at least Barack is stinky.

In an interview in the October issue of Glamour magazine, Michelle Obama, wife of Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois disclosed that her two girls refuse to cuddle with her husband in the morning because he is too “snore-y and stinky.”

“We have this ritual in the morning. They come in my bed, and if Dad isn’t there — because he’s too snore-y and stinky, they don’t want to ever get into bed with him. But we cuddle up and talk about everything from what is a period to the big topic of when we get a dog: what kind?” Michelle Obama told Tonya Lewis Lee, author and wife of filmmaker Spike Lee, in an interview for Glamour magazine.

I bet she’s a real joy to live with.

Obama won 4 more years….and he won’t care about polls…why should he?

The best we can hope to do is starve his preezy budget & force the unions to pay for his vacations and perks.

At least she didn’t roll her thighs at him. We’d be talking EMS here instead.

I actually think that this video humanizes them, it shows that Obama and Michelle are not fakers, they’re real people. They eat like real people, not like some stuckup royalty. I may not agree with 100% of Obama’s policies, but I respect him as a man, and that is very important at the end of the day.

nonpartisan on January 21, 2013 at 7:44 PM

With apologies to Del, but F-.

That’s some really lame spin and typical liberal claptrap. Glad you *feel* good about it at the end of the day, spanky.

If it was a R and his wife behaving like this we’d have no end to “trailer park” jokes and the like.

You know it, we know it. Just stop.

If Bubba Clintoon is “Father of the Year”, Hillary’s Benghazi body count is at least four, and Chelsea is 32 then all bets are off….

If my children displayed table manners like that — hunched over the plate, elbow on the table, shoveling in the food, failing to engage in polite conversation with the people around them, sarcastic facial expression — they would be dismissed from the table and would go hungry that night. And those are the rules for every meal, every day. And we do so because failing to teach our children good manners is cruel — cruel to the children. It subjects them to scorn and ridicule later in life…like the scorn and ridicule Mooch is getting here tonight. And she deserves it. She knows better. She just doesn’t think basic decorum and good manners apply to her anymore. That makes here not just rude, but crude. My president’s wife is crude.

Rational Thought on January 21, 2013 at 8:36 PM

I can’t stand here and her wig and her wardrobe either..Laura Bush has more class in her little toe than Moochelle has in her whole body..oh yeah, can’t stand the president either..of course

I disagree – I don’t believe that she does know better.

Where’s the evidence that she knows better? I recall reading several stories about Michelle Obama in Chicago, after Barry had been elected to the U.S. Senate, which featured Michelle rudely elbowing aside guests at various buffet functions, while arrogantly announcing “I’m the Senator’s wife” to the people she butted in front of.

Call me crazy, but that looks like an “empathetic” roll of the eyes… like he’s said something like “and those goddamn norwegians, can you believe those guys?” and the roll of her eyes is an affirmation of his sentiment.

Obviously, we won’t know what she’s rolling her eyes at until we know what Boehner is saying there, but don’t be too quick to assume that she’s rolling her eyes AT him.

just looked at some of the earlier comments, lol at the inane criticism about table manners

if she acted more proper, there would be howls of the Obamas being elitist and acting like royalty

they just can’t win *sigh*
