1) Wasn’t Brandon Lee killed by a gun that was loaded with blanks? I think that any projectile fired from a gun at close enough range could easily be lethal.

2) It could be possible that the would be assassin was just too stupid to realize what kind of gun it was. It would not be the first or last in the annals of stupid criminals if that was the case.

3) The leader’s security detail should be immediately fired. The bad guy had all day to run up on the stage in clear view of everyone with noone posted at the bottom of the stairs to block access. If it was a hoax, I might be convinced of it by the God-awful security at this event.

If this had just been a RAP VIDEO BY JAY-Z there wouldn’t have been a beatdown after…..there would have been a Grammy awarded.

No. “GAS” refers to a Co2 Cartridge used to shoot a BB, pellet or air-soft type ammo.

probably a pellet or a very small round…can’t be much of anything. However, the pellets of CS that the USMC uses in the CS training chambers are very small, so a pint-sized CS pellet in a room w/ 20 people can render the entire room in bad shape.

The gun misfired, but it was a gas pistol, used to fire teargas cartridges only; it’s a non-lethal weapon in most applications, although at the range the assassin had, it likely would have killed Ahmed Dogan.

I agree. If homeboy had taken one to his mug at 10inches away…. it would’ve been worse than Ralphies Red Ryder incident.

And, canopfor, we know it was a gun-free zone, or they wouldn’t have been giving him a beat-down, but covering him with a sheet. (And, the paramedics would have been complaining about how heavy he was when they loaded him on the gurney.)
