In addition to directing state agencies to halt any rulemaking activity indefinitely, the order requires the state’s budget office to evaluate existing rules and put forth recommendations for which should be repealed, beginning with the most onerous.

Sadly, that used to be the role of the Senate before it was changed from being the house of Congress for the state governments to being the house of Congress for the political machine controlling the largest metro area of each state.

This is absolutely great! Godspeed, Gov. Pence! Mike Pence has always been one of my favorites when he was in Congress.

I wish he had run last year. The ‘no executive experience’ is not a disqualifier. The problem with 0bama is not that he lacked executive experience, it’s his ideas. He has actually been a fairly effective executive in ramming his plans down our throats.
