I so wanted Pravda or Izvestia to ask Obama to explain why we don’t have a spending problem. I believe that, getting him off-script on that one would have enlightened a lot of people about this debt limit debate.

I will continue to be annoyed at the Republican establishment and the press for helping this guy get re-elected. I’ve never seen a more divisive person as President, in my lifetime, and see no solutions to our problems coming from this White House or his party.

For Obysmal to throw down the gauntlet over the debt ceiling when there has been no budget from Harry Reid’s Senate for years, when continuing resolutions keep escalating the debt, and when the first “stimulus” has been built into the baseline of spending is beyond the pale.

Now we learn that the WH will be late in offering a budget.

Impeachment is the civilized way, followed by a nation of laws. 0bama has destroyed the rule of law. Therefore, I am not sure that a rule-of-law-based attempt to remove him from office could fly.

It won’t. He won’t allow it, nor will his zombie followers, nor will his cheerleaders in the media. The ‘rule of law’ is already dead, as is the Constitution. I’m glad, frankly, to hear Levin start actually saying it; he’s been reluctant to discuss action of *any* kind so far, it seems. Unfortunately, the action that will be required is as you state in your summary statement:

It may be that he has to be removed by the methods of older civilizations, and they are many.

It seems talk of impeachment is beginning to bubble up into a boil.

Maybe election 2014 will be a referendum on it.
