Strike One: Powell betrayed President GW Bush by not telling President GW Bush that Powell’s man at the State Department, Richard Armitage, was the one who told Bob Novak about Valerie Plame being at the CIA and instead let GW Bush and Cheney get fried politically and Scooter Libby get prosecuted.

Strike Two: Powell turned his back on his “friend” John McCain and supported Obama for President, giving the country the impression that Obama could be a competent Commander in Chief (but see Benghazi).

Strike Three: after Obama’s election, Powell called for higher taxes and more Government spending.

So, on top of it all, Powell now supports Obama’s Cabinet picks who happen to be for cutting defense spending and being adverse to Israel. Here is a Bronx jeer for Colin Powell.

I would rather spend the rest of my life at a Barry Manilow concert before I would sit and listen to less than five minutes of Colin Powell’s certified B.S.! Why he just doesn’t get it over with, switch affiliation to the Democrats and stop this ridiculous “I’m A Republican!” charade is beyond me!

The libs and LSM need him to parade around on shows and the media to portray as a ‘Republican’ who (in their minds) can’t be marginalized or discounted because of his military service. Apparently, Powell is fine with being used like this.

At some point for every “moderate” there will come a point when the press and their own aids will point out to these guys how “popular” they could be by turning on the Republican base and capturing the “middle”. I would even say when O’Reilly’s ratings peaked he started out Obama’s term trying to soft pedal Obama as a not a bad guy and still continue’s to insist he is the voice of “the folks”

The Colin Powell formula will be repeated ad nauseum and we will get some other “candidate” that once has a secure following in the base will start to betray us to the left. It never ends in politics.

Exactly! If you had to state what our biggest need is for 2014 and 2016 its political strategists. How to counter Axelrod,Plouffe, Jarrett the rest. How to counter the ability to take a lie/half truth,vette it, focus test it, give it to the dbm who sell it and then claim its true.
Until we counter all that we may not win too many elections.

It’s a tactic to dilute the energies of the opposition. He isn’t doing it alone. He has the entire msm to aid and deflect with made up “important” side issues.
It’s worked for him so far.

They don’t want him to talk; the lib concept of a dialogue on any issue is, “You shit up, I talk, and you listen.”
