I mean, I know New Black Panthers, govt employees and union members are all exempted from laws you and I would serve time for, but will the arbitrary law application continue for these folks once they are declared citizens? Will they still receive free access to primary and secondary schools and healthcare, or will they have to start paying for these “rights”?

What about DUI convictions? Will there be a limit put on those?

Right now they can do pretty well for themselves over here, much of it tax free, and can retire to Mexico or wherever and live like kings.

The only reason the Dems would want them to have Citizenship is that they can vote for the Dems…but, I don’t know that they aren’t doing that anyway.

Somebody tell me what would be wrong for the House to put any Senate immigration bill on the back burner and tell the Dems that it will not be considered until budgets are passed, deficit / debt is dealt with and serious attention to jobs are given. It seems to me this would be more of a winner than spending months working on immigration which would make deficit / debt / jobs situations worse.

The GOP can’t risk getting caught with their pants down on this, and they’ll need to have a workable alternative on hand — and it sounds like Sen. Rubio is hoping to lead on the issue and further prove his national mettle.

This country really is too far gone to go back to the Constitutional Republic it was intended to be.
There are too many people here who cheer the breaking of important laws, too many people voting & in govt who hold contempt for the Constitution & our laws.
Honestly, things were over a long time ago.
This Republic will by by fits & starts, as it has been for decades.
You cannot cure this kind of cancer, even if we had 100 super Reagans.
There just is no turning back after this much decay.

I would say 2010 strongly argues against that.

The people are itching for the chance to fix things and make them right. It is just that the leaders of the country will have nothing to do with fixing anything. They seem to prefer to change America into a democracy so they can better control it. Remove all of the Constitutional Republic attributes America was born with that made America America.

Give America a chance with a real Tea Party.

But that’s what folks like you always do…if any solution doesn’t prevent illegal immigration 100%, then it’s worthless, and the only alternative is amnesty…which, ironically, will not only not prevent illegal immigration, it will in fact encourage more of it.

Perhaps the White House will decide that it would behoove them to make the effort in a grandiose display of bipartisanship and convince everyone that the president really is capable of negotiating

He constantly makes every single thing about himself. He inserts himself over and over and over again into every single aspect of government and what he says and does.

He does not like to golf with women for example so he never ever does unless absolutely forced to. Two women in 200 or so rounds or in other words 2 out of 500 golf party members.

He makes every vacation mostly about him. He golfs and does all kinds of things only using his family for flopping or photos to make him look good.

To think he would allow the Republicans any part of immigration is to simply not pay attention.

No nation can exist without clear and properly defended borders and immigration laws that are rigorously enforced. As long as a people or a nation has something that others want… others will seek a way to take it. Rewarding those who choose to come to this nation to take what they want only encourages more of the same.

One should never assume that Obama wants the US to exist, as she was/is somewhat.

•Telling the American people how to live;
•Limiting access to medical care;
•Attempting by fiat and legislation to dramatically limit gun ownership;
•Shifting near unlimited power to Washington D.C., by ignoring the concept of federalism;
•Deliberately bankrupting the country;
•Placing the private sector under the thumb of bureaucrats;
•Monitoring without search warrants American’s private conversations and communications;
•Allowing unrestrained illegal immigration in order to affect the voting patterns in their favor.

Yet in the America of 2013 all this, and more, has come to past and we are expected to believe the progressive cabal when they say their ultimate aim is not to effectively invalidate the second amendment by ever more stringent laws and regulations.

The left’s fundamental objective of transforming America is in sight, particularly with a fellow-traveler in the White House no longer facing re-election. Over the next four years, this faction will push their agenda more forcefully than ever as they will never allow a crisis, real or manufactured; to go to waste as they make certain an ever-increasing percentage of the population becomes indentured to the government.

Nope. Each anchor baby brings more freebies. You cut off the benefits, most of the welfare class would move back to their homeland.
They might work, but for every $1.00 they put in, they suck $3.00 out.

If we reward those that break our laws, a majority will take that mindset of entitlement, right to the ballot box for the Democrats and their “Santa Claus” campaigns.

We will be a bankrupt, balkanized, backward, body politic who bends at the will of the bureaucracy, bartering away its freedom for barren government benefits.

The so called “47%” will instantly become 51% (if it isnt already) always voting themselves more until there is nothing left (if they havent already).
