Oh, Congress and the Regime say thanks for pointing this latest injustice out to them.

So obviously a national outcry against such an ill conceived plan means that Congress will just drop the whole thing like an apple with a worm in it, right?

No. Congress (both parties) would immediately call for both regulations and subsidies for the apple industry, the EPA would go after the apple growers for harming an endangered species and declare eminent domain to acquire new land for worm protection areas and there would be a new tax to pay for all this.

So 42% think that a carbon tax will lead to growth. That number trails the numbers in favor of unicorn powered trolleys by a few points. The gap would be greater if it were more widely known that unicorns don’t poop.

- 69% agree that a carbon tax will fall hardest on the poor, the elderly, and those on fixed incomes.
- 77% agree that a carbon tax will lead to them paying more for gasoline and electricity.

Yet, you’ll get it, along with the VAT, financial transactions and wealth taxes. All in Obama’s hopper, make NO mistake about it.
