Indeed…but you contradict yourself.

We’ve had an entire, drawn-out debate about the fiscal cliff. If we are to believe the mainstream media, it was resolved by Republicans “caving” on taxes as several publications put it. The President celebrated an arrogantly told us how he “finally taxed the rich”.

Really?

Most Americans have seen their 2013 paycheck and the folks paid bi-monthly will see theirs on the 15th. The overwhelming response- “gee, this is much smaller than last year”. I thought he was only taxing the “rich”.

Nonsense.

People understand there is a huge spending issue and they are in no mood to discuss taxes any longer. They’ve been lied to once as to how increase would only hit the “rich”. Problem is now most people (still working) have less in their paycheck.

Add to this Boehner’s pledge to no more private negotiations with the President and this all becomes public and messy.

This is a classic overplaying of one’s hand. The only thing missing is popcorn.

When everyone realizes their taxes just went up, these low information voters will start doing a little research on their own. Thankfully, we won’t need a GOP politician who is capable of making a cogent argument as their are many others quite capable of informing these “class warfare” folks just what the increase in the top tax rate bought the U.S. – six to seven days, while at the same time destroying job creation. They will now begin to figure this out.

Watch the polls. This is a prime opportunity for us to take over the narrative.

If telling the truth makes you a target, then you may be right. As my buddy says, ‘I don’t mind calling an ugly baby ‘ugly’.’ While criticized for brutal honesty, it doesn’t make the baby any uglier OR handsome, & it does little good lying to the mom telling her ‘it is the most beautiful baby ever’…

In the end, in regards to our economy, we either have a SPENDING PROBLEM or we have a REVENUE PROBLEM…

Obama says we don’t have a SPENDING problem…and then increases deficit spending & adds $3.8 trillion in new debt/deficit spending in a Tax bill sold as one intnded to DECREASE spending & pay off the debt slowly…and that is after adding $6+ Trillion in debt in only 4 years..(after calling Bush ‘Un-American’ for adding $4 Trillion over 8 (EIGHT) years while fighting 2 wars…)

Pappy, your elation at the idea that the GOP is ‘dead’ perplexes me to no end & leaves me with the conclussion that you are quite possibly too $tupid to understand that the GOP has been the only thing preventing Obama/Democrats from engaging in wholesale scandal, violations of the Constitution, massive un-checked deficit-spending, and the complete & utter decline of the US as we have and continue to know it.
