As for Gregory, he should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law just as anyone else would be–no “journalist” exception.

Arrest him forthwith and let him pay a $1000.00 fine and spend a year in stir. There’s plenty of evidence to secure a conviction.

Why doesn’t the Oppressive Left care about protecting the Children?

What is it about the Gun-grabbing ghouls and their BSMedia minions with protecting themselves and not our precious offspring? They lost their collective cookies over the mere suggestion that armed police offices keep kids safe.

In part it could be their Dracula like aversion to guns in the hands of individuals not of their security details. But you have to ask yourself why is the oppressive left so adamant about not protecting the Children?

Ask yourself – why would they be against a proven security measure they employ for themselves?

We might as well just come right out and say it: They don’t want the children protected because they want more massacres.

They WANT to see wall to wall coverage of dead bodies and screaming parents. The WANT to see days of coverage as the BSMedia milks ever last bit of agony from these Serious Crisis that they see as prime opportunities to further their destruction of the Constitution.

Just look at how they almost can’t hide their giddiness over the news of these massacres.

Look at how they can’t wait to seize upon these “Crisis” with declarations about how other innocent gun owners are somehow guilty of the crime just because they exercise their God-given and Constitutionally affirmed right of self defense.

They recently put in place legislation to further restrict our rights – taking the advantage of the deaths of young children to enhance their power grabbing agenda. Problem is, the emotional groundswell from Sandy Hook has subsided so they can’t “Use” it as a means to deprive the innocent of their right of self-defense.

Now, like the death vultures that they are, they are just waiting for their next “opportunity”. They’re patiently waiting for the first repots of a shooting in school or some other ‘Gun-Free’ zone to spring into action.

But now, someone comes along and makes the very practical suggestion of protecting the children and they go Ballistic. They cannot abide this because it would reduce the chances of another death opportunity for them.

Armed officers would take away what they see as ‘collateral’ damage {dead children} in their quest for a disarmed and pacified socialist national utopia.

So why doesn’t everyone ask the gun grabbing ghouls of the Oppressive Left why they don’t want the children protected?

With all due respect, I can’t understand why it would not fit if you had a standard rail and the model Magpul was made right.

The other folk’s here can’t answer unless you let them handle the thing and check your facts.

My suggestion: measure both and contact a good smith or the company involved as seller or maker.

Other than that, you are losing us.

Yep, that’s the one. I’ve never tested this particular model, but it looks interesting. I’ve fired with Magpul’s on friends’ ARs, but when I bought a Magpul AFG myself, it wouldn’t fit on my rail for some reason. Don’t know why; it’s a mil spec rail, and all my other Magpul stuff fits on it. (Anyone else have that problem?) Maybe some quality control issues there.

But this one looks like a more simple design, with interesting ergonomics, so hopefully I’ll be set up.

How about those of us who are the real victims here?

An AR-15 or similar or a Smith 65 or 66 is all I know how to shoot — the Bushmaster’s nomenclature was XM and I have a 2 S or some other designation you can’t find anymore.

I’m just fair with a 1911.

I hope the left gives me some special program or something.

THAT is an absolute truth.
Even if they succeed in banning the commercial sale of 30 round magazines – the libtards don’t seem to have a clue that a machinist with some basic equipment can make his own very cheaply and easily. Shoot – it’s nothing more than some bent sheet metal with a shaped follower and a spring. They have no idea what kind of black market can and will quickly spring up for these things.

I’ve given up for now. Cabelas isn’t even listing AR mags on their website…

You might want to try The Mako Group (http://www.themakogroup.com/). Looks like they’ve got a pretty good supply line on AR 30-round mags manufactured in, and imported from, Israel, a country that is realistic about the need for these. You could also take satisfaction that in some indirect way you were probably helping fund opposition to the Pallies.

You have good points and, sadly, might well be all too right.

However, there are some magazines out there that teach people how to make a safe stash without risk of the gun getting rusty even after years. The stash can be made at home with common things easily found in hardware and plumbing stores.
