II Timothy 3

But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

6 They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, 7 always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth. 8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth. They are men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. 9 But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.

Our crisis is political, not economic. Politics is ultimately a moral exercise, no matter what it deals with. Leaders are stewards of our social patrimony. What we see in Washington today is not gridlock. It is collapse. It is the final triumph of political theater over political reality, of ignorance over reasoned governing, of self-interest over principle. A $12 trillion economy and 230-plus-year history can survive a great deal of abuse and neglect. But history proves no state is immune from the self-inflicted idiocy of its leaders or people. Just how long we will survive in this state is now a proposition fully engaged. It is the great social experiment of the 21st century.

True, that.

The top offers no solution as it is the problem.

To reign in the top requires that its collapse be allowed to happen, that its promises be shown to be false, that its leaders shown up to the blatant lies they espouse.

The solution is as it ever has been under this contractual agreement from the governed to its governors, but it requires that exposure of deceit and power grab FIRST before the contract gets put forth in more assertive manner. Thus it was with Ethelred the Unready, Henry I seeking solution after massive expansion of government, the imposed changes upon John I, and then the brink of horror under James II. The final piece was under George III and the Declaration contains within it the list of abuses that requires the political breaking of a people with their government.

Read that portion well as almost no one bothers to so loving the first few lines: it is in the bulk of the Declaration that the actual meat is put on the bones and if you cannot identify the meat then no matter how lovely the bones you have missed the point.

Your job and duty, as always in such times, is to hold fast to your knowledge that self-government is the best government, that no external government will ever create a good person, and that your upholding and passing on such beliefs that have been fully tested by history allows for a more perfect understanding amongst men and that perfection is ever barred from those who live in Nature's world.

It is back to basics.

Food.

Guns.

Ammo.

Prepare yourself to be a help to others who can join with you in rebuilding. There are many times of horror and tears to come, those who say otherwise are in pure delusion as to what man is and the evil that prospers when man signs his liberty away for no security at all. If you do not see such things coming to pass now, at this late date, then I am truly sorry for the world you are about to go through and I can be of no help to you during such times. If, truly, God helps those who help themselves, then those placing dependence upon government are of no use to pass through such times as they will not do more than help themselves in the worst way: by coercive theft via government. Unable to be a help to others, they destroy the goodness and trust in society around them. I am not mad nor angry at same, but sad and pity them... such pity no longer extends to a helping hand as they refuse to help themselves create a better life and think it all must be bestowed upon them.

Do not worry about the dollar, it is a mere representation of your liberty and others debase that in your name. It is their hatred of liberty and YOU that causes them to do that and spend in such manner. Return that not with hate, but with understanding that they are killing themselves by doing this and creating a vacuum where their soul used to be. Stop accepting 'help' from government programs and start the long, slow and hard disconnect from as much as you can: you will be the new pioneer in the desolate frontier ahead and your wisdom, gained now, will help many good people to survive.

Your duty is to protect your life which is allowed for and sustained by your liberty which gives you freedom. That is a Natural Right, a Moral Right, and a duty to freely chosen government which you back. And that government starts with yourself, not with the State. This is, by far, the hardest of all duties, that necessary one to protect your liberty and freedom. No outside government CAN DO THAT FOR YOU. Only you can do that FOR YOURSELF this protection of your own governance, your liberty, your freedom, your family, and the products of your life and liberty all of which flow from your Natural Right which is inalienable to each person as an individual.

Our schools, rotted and an ancient institution that needs to die. Send no children to them, and utilize the new means to teach at home with others who are like-minded.

Universities are corrupted by apparatchiks and overburdened by them to the point where they can no longer teach without politics and agenda. Manual arts, however, are devoid of such as to run a machine tool, to weld, to build with masonry, to fit pipes... all are beyond politics and yet are necessary to sustain infrastructure for each of us. Hard work is its own reward and, now with so few to do it, lucrative as well since the elites disdain such skills and those who perform them.

Each and every choice in your personal life will determine your course and survival, and that of your like minded fellow man. Continue to point out that even at this late date, that admitting our folly and mending our ways can still save us, but that the lies, deceit, and destructive underpinnings must first be admitted to and that no matter who is 'helped' by them, we all lose because of them. Place no faith in politicians who, like diapers, need to be changed frequently and for the same reason as well. The deluded will always be with us, or at least as long until their own lives are consumed by that which they create and then their screams of horror and shock are to be remembered and passed down: they created their own destruction happily and we should never do the same.

Failure for government? A simple though often bloody remedy.

Failure of a people? A time of winnowing brings necessary horror which you do try to stop, but which the happy ones who embrace horror will not see until the blade is for them.

Only YOU can fail YOU. Are you prepared to live free or die trying? Are you prepared to be a help and service to others who are looking for the way out in the times ahead? Are you willing to admit to folly that has been done in your name and no longer support it and to let others know that it IS folly at every turn and yet with a smile and an open hand as a clenched fist gathers no friends? These are duties you gain by being free and having liberty and they are not easy ones, but the most difficult of all. Defending your life is one thing... leading a good one that depends not on government beyond that which you create is something else, again.

I am not mad nor angry at same, but sad and pity them… such pity no longer extends to a helping hand as they refuse to help themselves create a better life and think it all must be bestowed upon them.

Stop accepting ‘help’ from government programs and start the long, slow and hard disconnect from as much as you can: you will be the new pioneer in the desolate frontier ahead and your wisdom, gained now, will help many good people to survive.

Manual arts, however, are devoid of such as to run a machine tool, to weld, to build with masonry, to fit pipes… all are beyond politics and yet are necessary to sustain infrastructure for each of us. Hard work is its own reward and, now with so few to do it, lucrative as well since the elites disdain such skills and those who perform them.

Each and every choice in your personal life will determine your course and survival, and that of your like minded fellow man. Continue to point out that even at this late date, that admitting our folly and mending our ways can still save us, but that the lies, deceit, and destructive underpinnings must first be admitted to and that no matter who is ‘helped’ by them, we all lose because of them.

Defending your life is one thing… leading a good one that depends not on government beyond that which you create is something else, again.

How about beginning with a solid list of cuts that prevent the nation from giving Obysmal another credit card extension via the debt ceiling?

How about beginning legislation that replaces the income tax amendment with one that gives every citizen some "skin in the game"

How about initiating an amendment that gives the power to choose members of the Senate back to the states? Let's make that belief in federalism a reality. We have a strong bench of Republican governors who could promote the idea.

If the House Republicans — who failed at every level — had conceded that there were going to be tax increases and formulated a negotiating position demanding spending cuts in return, they might have have won something. Instead, they staked out an irresponsible and indefensible position and — after a few hours of public impotence — lost everything. Even I’m a little appalled at how miserably they performed.
