$331 million for railroads
$222 million for Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands
$70 million for NASCAR

That is 1.112 Trillion in spending in the Fiscal Cliff bill just passed to save the taxpayer.

How about just not saving us anymore, okay?

<blockquote>I was as pissed at Boehner as anyone until about an hour ago.
Nearly an hour ago FNC announced that Speaker Boehner told Dingy Harry to go F… himself!!
Harry wasn’t quite sure of what he heard so he asked Boehner to repeat what he said. He did! He told DIngy to go F… himself again!
That’s my kind of guy! Warts and all.

rodguy911 on January 2, 2013 at 11:53 AM</blockquote>When it comes to respectable leadership, Boehner=Georges Washington and Patton combined, right?

How long after he said that to Reid did it take for him to start crying about his "mean and shameful" behavior, and then reach for a smoke? Shall we take bets on it? :)

Don’t quite what y’all are complaining about…the general wisdom was that the tactic the GOP should do is to lay back and let the dems deliver most of the Yes votes so it doesn’t get hung around their necks..and that’s what happened.

So much for tactics…the new conservative media will still complain about it. And now I see here and at Ace the “screw the GOP” nonsense going on. I wouldn’t want some of you running campaigns if that’s the case.

And if you’re saying screw Paul Ryan, then you’re saying screw Scott Walker, Mike Pence…they’re the same and you’re also not giving a damn about the states as well then. 30 states have told Obama to go pound sand over his Obamacare exchanges…that doesn’t happen without GOP legislators with backbones people…

<blockquote>Learn from this, GOP. The next time your Speaker has a plan, go with it. The reactionary whining is useless. Otherwise, you’ll keep getting these crap sammiches shoved down your throat. This was entirely predictable. Not surprising at all. Rhetoric and sniping from the sidelines doesn’t equal governance.

This is what's destroying your country. "Shut up and do as we say, no matter the predictable outcome." Classic.

They are more intelligent than you, don't you know?

<blockquote>Cool beans. This seems like completely sensible political advice; don’t court new voters, just depend on our super-strong base which lost in 2012.

You guys are hilarious. Keep deflecting and blaming the nebulous ‘establishment’ for your own failings in fashioning a direction for this country that people are actually willing to vote for. Until then, you’re rightfully dismissed as a sideshow act.

Translated, keep moving left like we did under Bush, we can expand our voting pool that way. Look how wonderful that's worked out.

Continue to compromise honor and principle. Continue to think INSIDE of the box, and America gets what is now happening. Where are there any core principles in any of Mr B-Plus' comments?

Seriously folks, how LONG have guys like Mr B-Plus been saying that? For an eternity it seems. And all it's gotten you is more and more government. He calls for more of the same. Yes, seriously.

<blockquote>Perhaps a better way to say it would be that the culture-rot that is lubricating America’s slide down the chute into the sh!t-can of history is largely a product of turning away from faith (including God, core families, and general morality). In other words, the realization of the progressive agenda, as planned out by prog thinkers like Wilson, Gramsci, and Cloward and Piven.

You're on to something. Others would be wise to listen.

<blockquote>If Cantor is the alternative to Boehner, there is no alternative. I would not even be surprised if Cantor was Kabuking away with his no vote tonight. Cantor is an establishment shill.
