I don’t know how families are making it now. Honestly. I have 1 person to support. Barely managing.
I come home from the grocery store with a few bags and emptied my wallet. How are families putting food on the table every night? Affording necessities and taking care of their children? How are seniors managing? I watched an older woman at the store recently, little in her cart, with a strained look on her face. I near teared up.

There are several reasons why an individual could claim exemption, being a member of a religion that does not believe in insurance is one of them. Islam is one of those religions. Muslims believe that health insurance is “haraam”, or forbidden; because they liken the ambiguity and probability of insurance to gambling. This belief excludes them from any of the requirements, mandates, or penalties set forth in the bill. Other excluded groups include Amish, American Indians, and Christian Scientists.
I looked and cannot find belief in “insurance” in the Bible…

Curious, isn’t it, that we now have a federal “tax” that is being applied only to members of certain religious groups, but not others.

Seems like an equal protection violation, does it not? Muslims, the Amish, Christian Scientists, etc., still get to use the U.S. health care system (and still get to “freeload” in our ERs), but only Christians, Jews, and certain other religious groups are subject to the “tax” that pays for it.

[B]y arguing that Gregory shouldn’t even be investigated, let alone prosecuted, liberals are saying that they get to decide which laws should be enforced. They are basically saying that the law is only relevant when they say it is. If that’s the case, the law has no meaning.

This has been true for quite a while. Last year, Obama decided that because he does not personally like U.S. immigration laws, he won’t enforce them against millions of illegal aliens. Never mind that it is the constitutional duty of the president to enforce federal law (including the laws with which the president does not personally agree).

In a few days, we will have the spectacle of Obama placing his hand on a Bible and swearing, once again, to do that which he has already failed and refused to do.

It is not just the law which no longer has any meaning in this country.

That’s Affirmative Action. That’s progress.

How about we just put him in an orange jumpsuit, convict him of treason and being ineligible to hold the office of POTUS and deport him back to Indonesia or Kenya?
