it is the undeniable fact that we have absolutely zero plans for any attempts to actually pay down our $16 trillion in outstanding debt, not to mention the accumulating interest, nor to take care of our tens of trillions more in unfunded liabilities. We are exerting an indecent amount of political energy on merely bringing down our yearly deficit the tiniest bit, and Democrats’ intransigence on sincerely acknowledging the non-sustainability of their agenda, paired with their tactical ploys to keep moving the traditional political center further and further leftward, do not bode well for America.

“… do not bode well for America” is Ed being sensible, but in his typical low-key way, VASTLY understating the severity of the matter.

Us conservatives prefer to avoid personal attacks on our political opponents, but in light of the statement quoted above, how can we not look at them, and conclude they are seriously, dangerously deranged? Would “irrational” be a better word?

We’re showing the lefties deference they don’t deserve. They’re steering the ship of state directly into an iceberg. We need to vigorously, roughly if necessary, pull them out of the wheelhouse so we can steer our way to safety.

God bless America. The Almighty can lift mountains and throw them into the sea, but I don’t think that even the Almighty can get the lefties to face reality.

I blame all of them – including the gutless wonders in the GOP and in the courts who wouldn’t even let this be legitimately resolved. They kept claiming that it was so clear that he was eligible … then, fine. Take it through the court system and have it found that way. But they didn’t even have the guts to do that. The GOPers were cowed by the insinuation that even questioning whether he was eligible or not was … raaaaacist!! And that was on top of the laughable fact that barky was a co-sponsor of a useless and pointless Senate reolution that examined McShame’s paperwork in order to declare him a natural born citizen (which is, of course, not within the power of the Senate) but to have even a look at barky’s paperwork was supposed to be the height of nasty raaacism!! And the courts were even more gutless with those ridiculous “no standing” rulings and the joke that voting citizens have no right to know that those on the ballots are actually eligible for the positions they are seeking. It was offensive. Even lefty lawyer Jonathan Turley thought it made a mockery of the courts.

Oh well. America had a good run. Time for a divorce so that the American creed can be carried into the future, because this American Socialist Superstate is certainly not a vehicle capable of that. It’s time that they go their own way and Americans go ours.

His father wasn’t – and Arthur knew that he was ineligible. He destroyed or hid all of his documents at the time – hence the rumors that he was born in Canada and other stories. The truth of Arthur’s situation actually wasn’t found out until the wrangling over barky’s clear ineligiblity in 2008. Barky, of course, stands as a shining example of the reason for, and importance of, the natural born citizen requirement, as his lack of attachment to American culture is what has allowed our processes and institutions to be so perverted over the past 4 years (far worse than anything else this nation has ever faced).

As bad as natural born American leftists are, they are still subconsciously bound by the culture they’re raised in (whether they like it or not). Barky had no such restrictions and it showed. Now, much of Barky’s alien ideas are part of “American political and governing tradition”, which is a total disaster and will certainly prove a fatal blow, as the United States has been killed in everything but name at this point.

Of course, the natural born citizen requirement was never going to be totally foolproof, but it would have easily handled the worst disaster to befall our federal government as it was meant to keep alien notions of governance away from controlling our Executive branch, the military and all the attendant powers. But, what would anyone anyone have expected from a guy whose first political aspiration was to become Prime Minister of Indonesia, a place run by a dictator who had just overthrown another dictator? America was warned.

If Rubio had any integrity he would care, too. Being President isn’t the be-all and end-all of life. Fidelity to the Constitution should trump anyone’s desire for the job.
