Sigh –looked at those listings myself – it appeared to be a listing of just about every crime incident that was somehow connected with a school.

Before you start pointing fingers, remember this: the most tragic shooting have occurred under Obama’s watch so I can easily blame him. Who needs evidence when everything I say is correct? I can blame Obamacare, the rise in food stamps, the poor economy, the Democrats’ incivility, Hollywood, every leftist idea, etc.

To clarify, I’m not blaming Obama. My point is that blaming others with no facts to back up isn’t solving the issue.

New Jersey and Connecticut already have gun control laws and yet, a man was able to obtain guns to enter a school and kill people, especially children. OK, exactly HOW will additional gun control laws prevent the next tragedy? I’ve been asking this question for years and received no response; not from the Brady group, not from the media, not from Hollywood celebrities, not from any anti-gun zealot.

Why? I thought you guys were the smartest people ever. I thought you had the answers to everything. There’s no correlation between gun control laws and shootings so how do you know they’ll work?

Ah yes, “We must do something!” is the mantra. So let’s not do something that works, let’s just randomly make laws and cross our fingers, hoping for the best. That would have to mean that human life has no meaning to the left.

If the left is so outraged over the shooting then the concept of right and wrong must exist. Yet we never address issues if whether or not they’re right or wrong but if they’re fair! How come the concept of morality never enters the mind of the left until it becomes politically expedient?

You cannot reject morality, only to call upon it when it serves your interests. Yet we see violence committed by OWS and unions and the left never applies moral principles to address them.

The left supports pot because they claim that we haven’t been able to stop the drug war yet somehow, we can stop gun ownership? Prohibition never worked either.

I’ll ask this question again, knowing full well that nobody on the left will answer. Please provide details on what type of gun laws you would implement that would have prevented this tragedy and explain how they would have been effective. Keep in mind that this country had fewer gun control laws decades ago with fewer tragedies.

I’m not stating that teachers with firearms would have prevented this tragedy but to simply advocate gun control laws without clear, logical thinking is an argument for the terminally stupid.

America is not unique either in proportion of the populace that is armed nor in mass shootings. Switzerland has higher incidence of gun ownership than america does. Mass school killings have happened in Japan, Germany and elsewhere. Only partisan gun control advocates think America is unique.
