Video: Steven Crowder gets the full union-thug experience

posted at 4:01 pm on December 11, 2012 by Allahpundit

When I saw his tweet this morning, I wondered if he had oversold what happened. Nope. Not only does one guy start throwing roundhouses, another yanks him back hard by his jacket collar and seems ready to jump him before people around them step in. A third guy curses him out and looks like he’s moments away from making a move of his own before Crowder backs off to cool him down. Why? Because the state decided they shouldn’t be able to force people to join their organization as a condition of employment. I’m not sure why they’re worried about that, frankly; given their tactics, who’d dare take a job working alongside these cretins while refusing to unionize? This is their version of an anti-RTW ad: If you’re thinking of exercising your freedom of association, make sure you think carefully. And not a single Democratic pol will say a word about it, beyond the most perfunctory “of course I deplore violence but…” statement wrung from their press team.

You might see this clip on Fox News today. Smart money says you won’t see it anywhere else. Exit question: When was “democracy” redefined to mean “doing whatever unions want”?

Update: Presented without comment:

“This is just the first round of a battle that’s going to divide this state. We’re going to have a civil war,” Hoffa said on CNN’s “Newsroom.”

It is a post from an old thread in which sesquadruplelymentallychallenged tried to conflate a man who murdered his family and them committed suicide as an example of Tea Party violence because he got sick of us rubbing the noses of liberal trolls OWS violence. The man apparently attended at least one Tea Party rally some time before murdering his family. Therefore it qualified as Tea Party violence in his warped and desperate mind.

Crowder is a lifter.
He probably could have torn apart any one of those beer-bellied turds.
A mob of them like that would be problematic.
He did a good job with his self restraint.
But then again he seems like a nice guy who wouldn’t easily resort to violence.

Is everyone out there armed up?
Because it’s coming fast.
And by “it” I mean Obama-sanctioned violence.
Who would have thought this would happen in the USA?

Someone should devise a way for an amicable divorce, such as splitting off Texas, Alaska and a handful of other select and contiguous states.
But they won’t.
And it will come to violence.

This happened to conservatives who would not drink the koolaid once before. They were hounded, marginalized and disarmed. Their lands and property seized and themselves driven out. Most of their descendants live due north of you. The Loyalists were slow to see the danger and relied on British power to keep things straight, that was one mistake among many and then it was too late. Unfortunately it is in the nature of conservatives to react rather than act.

“This is just the first round of a battle that’s going to divide this state. We’re going to have a civil war,” Hoffa said on CNN’s “Newsroom.”

The mask is slipping. The more people that realize this country is ALREADY in a new civil was, thus spurring them to action, the better. This is a better scenario than Let It Burn. It means we could actually take the country back in our lifetimes.

Buy your guns and ammo people.

And like NOW people.

You can expect that the oppressives will milk the next gun-free zone shooting “Crisis” like a prized Heifer to deprive certain folk of their right of self-defense.

When are you people embarrassed?

hawkdriver on December 11, 2012 at 7:12 PM

Never. The Obamas killed the last shred of decency in AmeriKa.

People with no shame are incapable of embarrassment.

NEVER.

About the worst thing non-conservative people say to a woman for getting a convenience abortion is “use a condom next time.”

We literally have parades in public of people who are proud to be sluts.

Getting your ‘news’ and ‘information’ from places like Wikipedia is perfectly acceptable.

Amen. The NRA is one of the few single-issue organizations that does anything besides waste money and make fools of themselves, and they deserve great praise for their efforts.

I donate regularly to The National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation. I may have to double those donations…and buy more ammo.

Isn’t it amazing how every loafer wearing Republican geek is a threat to society, (see penny-loafer rebellion cerca 2000 in FLA) any returning serviceman can’t be trusted with a firearm and a bunch of bluehairs carrying a Gadsden Flag are racist anarchists, but, but …

They see their own doing what they project Conservative behavior to be and my God they have every freaking excuse for the actual thuggery to include blaming the victim.

When are you people embarrassed?

hawkdriver on December 11, 2012 at 7:12 PM

Exactly.

I don’t know why people give these trolls that roam around here so much attention either. At some point just ignore them. That’s the best response because it doesn’t matter what point you argue with them.. they aren’t interested. They get off being quoted repeatedly.

But as for how mobs should be dealt with… we haven’t the guts today. In the old days the police would just line up with billy clubs and be done with it. But not today. Today we arrest the people defending themselves.

Crowder got off lucky. It was good he didn’t throw any punches back. They would have killed him. They would have surrounded him and you wouldn’t have seen him again until the mob parted.

Very very serious stuff. Now comedians are publicly bragging about the white people they get to kill in movies. And nothing is done about it. What’s the next line then to be crossed. It won’t stop there.

And the Republicans? They won’t even acknowledge any of this extremist crap from the left. When was the last time you heard any prominent Republican party member call out the extremism from the left? When? No.. but they will give speeches against some little Republican who says “legitimate rape” and then apologizes for it. They will call that extremist… but the actual violence publicly going on from the left? A leftist can openly insult all Christians by publicly calling Obama lord and savior.. and then later bragging about killing white people in the movies.. and you hear nothing from our side.

Ignoring this is not going to make it go away. The Republicans are appeasing the left… and when you appease violent people you are going to get more violence! Reaching out your hand to violent people and calling them nice and hiding your head in the sand is not going to solve this problem!
