I guess since FL went for the messiah, he’s thinking he can get somewhere politically..

Just remember, back in 2008 establishment Republicans wanted McCain to pick either Crist or Lieberman as his running mate. And then they backed Crist over Rubio in the primaries, getting the NRSC to weigh-in on Crist’s side.

Crist’s conversion is just more proof as to the idiocy of the establishment.

You know who else backed Charlie Crist back then ? Why the esteemed author of this blog post himself – Jazz Shaw.

Jazz was and still is a guest on the Rick Moran show and back then was highly skeptical of any one (read Marco Rubio)challenging Charlie Crist in the 2010 Primaries…i am not a fan of Rubio by any means but i was annoyed at the way establishment Republicans and RINO’s like Jazz did not like Rubio challenging Crist in the primary..

i still remember going on the show and asking Jazz, “what are you afraid of with Rubio running ? if he loses, you get your moderate dream GOP candidate in Charlie Crist, don’t you” ? the response that i got was that Rubio was too young and untested. So look at what the veteran GOP candidate did ? He just became a DUMBOCRAT.

Yes, it is quite a long litany / legacy of crappy decisions by the Chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee. In addition to all of the items that you wrote, Cornyn voted for TARP, too. The man has been an absolute disaster.

When he first joined the Senate, he spent his first term as little more than a GWB cheerleader. I have always pictured Cornyn dancing around and waving a pair of pom-poms. That such a lightweight became chairman of the NRSC exemplifies how pathetic the Republican Senatorial leadership is. This Charlie Crist defection is just another arrow in the quiver of whoever primaries the waste of space that is Cornyn.

I hate to say it, but the guy who opposed Ted Cruz, Paul Sadler, made a good case that he has some brains – which is more than Cornyn has ever convinced me of. If Cornyn survives a primary challenge, and Sadler is his opponent, I would truly have a difficult time deciding who to vote against: a Democrat or a squishy Republican clown.

So, so desperate to claim power. He’s exactly who Americans should deny office.

Actually endorsed Charlie Crist over Marco Rubio for that Florida Senate seat. Yes, Ayatollah Cornyn basically wrote out a statement that was a “pat” on the head to Rubio saying essentially … “This boy’s got potential but not for this job … NOT LIKE CHARLIE CRIST DOES!”

He did the same thing in Pennsylvania with Arlen Specter over Pat Toomey – and old Arlen switched parties on him!

Not only that … but Ayatollah Cornyn sank $10M into a California Senate race that Barbara Boxer easily won. He sank another untold millions on Snott Brown in Mass – who got his ass handed to him by a fake indian.

Charlie was a joke – but nobody listened to him in the GOP anyway. I say … beg Charlie Crist to come back to the GOP and then kick Cornyn OUT OF IT!!
