Did he invite himself to speak at the Business Roundtable or did they invite him? I just can’t see any responsible business person sitting there and listening to this twaddle being spewed. They are being used as a platform for the prezzy’s photo op. He gives his snarky speech and no msm gets to ask questions. The business people all know that his words are meaningless which then creates the sense of uncertainly. That’s what is being rinsed and repeated.

He WILL play by the rules of our Constitution, or let him be impeached.

For the Congress to surrender their control over the debt ceiling is unconstitutional. Let him pursue that, let him play that game at his own peril.

He’s always running around doing this “campaigning style” of “governing” so that he can get out what he wants to say and have it all replayed on the MSM. This way he doesn’t have to hold any press conferences and face the remote chance of actually getting any real or pressing questions.

All presidents before this one actually “worked” in Washington and dealt with congress directly. If they wanted to get their plans or desires before the American people, they’d hold a press conference.

This guy will do anything to avoid dealing directly with the people we’ve elected to represent us or being held accountable to us.

Obama only has all the power if he can keep all the Democrats in the Senate on his side. They’ll jump ship in a heartbeat if it looks like they might lose their next election.

It would do my heart good to see him do a classic overreach and suddenly be abandoned by the Senate. It’s very much possible. McConnnell has already pushed for Obama’s “offer” to be put to a vote in the Senate, and even hyper-partisan Harry Reid couldn’t run away from it fast enough.

The Democrats are cocky because they know the media will cover for them. But if you confront them directly enough so that they can’t hide behind favorable media coverage, they know they could lose that next election. And that is all they care about.

You won’t win this by being a nice guy. But it can be won.
