I hear ya, but if we lived our lives by tuning out everything like that what sports could we watch, what movies, and what music?

I enjoy watching football and realize not to take most of these clowns seriously has they are clearly not rocket scientists — that includes the players, commentators, and analyssts.

If you want some good conservatives to root for though — root for the Broncos:

Elway supported and even introducted Romney at a fundraiser in Denver right before the first debate.

Peyton donated to Bush in 2004, donated to Fred Thompson in 2008, and donated to Romney this year.

And this is in addition to being the best QB of all time!

Yea, Costas made no sense at all. Would have been far better if he had just said “Look, I have some strong opinions on gun control, but SNF was not the right platform for expressing those opinions. I’m sorry.” and left it at that. Instead he rambled on incoherently about trying to provide “perspective.”

Dan Patrick was even trying to keep his distance this morning. He made it a point to say he brought Costas on his show to let him explain himself and not because he thought what Costas said was correct.

Costas was on the Dan Patrick radio program this morning trying to explain himself. Was interesting hearing him twist in the wind. The criticism has clearly touched a nerve.

The funniest part was hearing him apologize because his audience for not being smart enough understanding his comments. One of those classic “I’m not sorry I said it, I’m sorry you didn’t understand me” non-apologies.

I change the channel the second the twit started to quote the idiotic liberal screed and never went back.

Why don’t liberals just come out and quote the statics.
Crossing the line in 3,2,1 … black males between the ages of 13 -38 should not be allowed to own firearms. Especially people with head trauma and on meds. Bullets, pills, brain scrambling… not good.
Problem solved!

Now if we could only prevent clinically insane white men from watching glorified, incessant news coverage to discourage copycat loons from hatching a mass shooting of their very own.

Making this a little more surreal to me is that I am a member of the Arlington, Tx Police Department and pre-game/halftime was dedicated to first responders (Police, Fire). Pre-game was spent honoring two fallen officers from 2010, one of whom was my academy classmate, Jillian Smith. She was shot and killed by an a-hole who, like Belcher, couldn’t deal with life like an adult. After assaulting his girlfriend, he left to go get his gun, and then returned, first shooting Jillian who was there to take the report, then killing his girlfriend, and finally turning a gun on himself. Thankfully he was not star athlete so no one was wearing his jersey the next day, or building him makeshift memorials. And general consensus was that the fault was not with an inanimate object, but with that ass.
