At least Putin is smart enough to see what the future of America will be under bho and the democRATs.

Remember all the complaining about the 47% of the country that no longer pays income tax? Let all the Bush tax cuts expire, and a majority of the country will start paying income taxes again.

The only way Democrats win on the tax issue is if they get exactly what they’re asking for: all the Bush tax cuts expire except for the top bracket. If all the tax cuts expire instead, then the Democrats will be the losers on the tax issue.

It’s got to be more than that. Standing firm on tax hikes in and of itself is exactly what the rat-eared wonder and his filthy party want as a narrative. It’s got to be a more complex series of things with standing firm on the GOP’s idea of balanced approach is more than just raising taxes. That along with a bit of indignant outrage that the Dems refuse to budge on anything may not dispel the blame the GOP is sure to get through the MSM but it makes it that much harder to succeed. Keep in mind, the economics are on the GOP’s side no matter what Dems and lilly-livered “conservatives” claim. Make entitlement reform part of the package. Not down the road but now. Otherwise, going over the fiscal cliff is a good first step in re-evaluating priorities.

But lost in all the screaming about Bush’s “tax cuts for the wealthy” is that Bush’s tax cuts had the opposite effect. After Bush’s tax cuts, 47% of the country no longer paid income taxes. While Bush cut taxes for everyone, he cut them most for the lower classes.

The sense of the plays perhaps but not quite complete.

Tax hikes have to be mentioned in the context of all those greedy people making over $200K who want to deny “middle class” families of free stuff because they refuse to pay their “fair share.”

Spending cuts only get mentioned with the dire consequences to society if Sandra Fluke doesn’t have slutcare to rely on for her congtraception needs. And, of course, a multi-billion dollar enterprise like Sesame Street would fold over night were it not for those public dollars propping up Big Bird and “tickle this” Elmo.

This part. The greedy selfish people apparently are too damned stupid to understand that the solution necessitates more than just taxing the hell out of the rich. But don’t think the rat-eared wonder will call it entitlement reform after spending the last few months swearing that the only thing we had to do is make the rich pay “their fair share” so those stupid greedy people wouldn’t have to do anything but lay back and laugh themselves silly that people are out there working hard so people like them need only put an Obama bumper sticker on the car and wait for the welfare to roll in.

After all, the “fiscal cliff” is just a combination of tax increases and spending cuts that add up to $500 billion per year.

These results are nothing more than another indication of the success of Barack Obama in spinning a theme and having it stick, regardless of its validity. He’s been hitting the “balanced approach” gong for so long, I can hardly hear myself think. And people have bought it. Yet, for some reason, the balanced approach means tax the wealth and don’t touch anybody else. What exactly is balanced about that?

The fiscal deal (not a cliff, sorry, there is not death at the bottom of the canyon, despite the free hyperbole being dished out by the bucket-load) will increase taxes on everyone. Isn’t everyone being treated the same sort of the theme of America? Since when did taking other people’s money become part of the national fabric? Should we decriminalize bank robbery along with pot? If it’s fair to go in and take what you want, where’s the harm? The harm is only to people with money and they have no rights in America anyway, right?

A little extreme to make a point? Maybe. But, extreme seems to be the language of the day, these days.

Apparently Barack Obama and Mr. Axelrod have won not only the election, but also the debate. The battle and the war.

I agree completely. I hope the dollar collapses, entitlement checks stop, and the electorate pays attention. Let’s get this over with.
