Conservatives can’t win when old crony Republicans like Newt Gingrich keep telling party donors to only spend money targeting the same audience as the Democrats. Contrite Newt and Callista have an ever growing product catalog to push and for them it matters most that they get face time in the Democrat Media Complex and it is clearly a winning sales strategy for them, and all RINOs, to sheepishly call for the “other” (to which they belong but will never tire of reforming for their own good!) to wear away at the international Left’s brand loyalty. However, for the conservative movement, it would behoove them to get out of the crowded media complex and go to the people. Larger than The View’s rating are the number of Americans who don’t watch TV, or vote, or were ignored by their local GOP office because driving grassroots involvement is not what New Gingrich and lobbyists are about. Team Romney held many rallies and thousands came to the candidate. Who will go to where the (disenfranchised) people gather and give the conservative message?

Plenty of people on Hot Air prove the point of how degenerate the electorate is. But the ones here are trying to get their degenerate ways through the Republican party and get rid of the last bastion between us and Ancient Rome.

Yeah, we misread the electorate. We just didn’t believe that they were that stupid and degenerate. That’s it in a nut shell. The right cannot wrap its mind around the pure idiocy of the left. It’s hard to understand why they would want to take the greatest country in the history of the world and destroy it….perhaps they are so ill educated that they missed what the left did to the world in the 20th century. That’s the only explanation. Sheer ignorance.

Democracy folks, just doesn’t work without folks who are reasonably educated, morally responsible, and believe in the good truth that all of their rights come from God-not the government or some charleton who owns a deceit vomiting media.

It wasn’t about politics or the “economy stupid” atr all.

It was about our malfunctioning culture – and the left understood the degree that this nation has become degenerate and thus suceptible to any evil they wanted to push upon us.

We are but a bunch of Pinnocchios on Treasure Island thinking free things and believing lies have no consequences.

We threw away God and foolishly expected good things to happen anywaay. The destruction has just begun.

It was simply turnout. A decent GOTV effort might have made the difference. Calling someone and telling them you know they haven’t voted yet is often a decent motivator to get them to the polling place if they were going to fart it off.

There are hundreds of horror stories from Romney volunteers who worked GOTV on election day. The ORCA systems didn’t work election day and many, if not most, couldn’t work GOTV much of the day.

When the non-refunded taxes of others are propping up the government and yours are being refunded, it is absolutely parasitic. Why do you think there’s the lamentation over the fact that half the country “pays zero income tax”? Yours is a feeble ability to grasp the simplest arithmetic.

I wonder if Gingrich really means all this. If people were telling the truth during the campaign then they believe the system will collapse eventually. it wouldn’t surprise me though if Gingrich is backing up to another position like “we can run the nanny state better” Bad thing about professional polticians is they really just look at how to win the next election so they can get back on the payroll.

At least he admits in a very understaed way that we have lost the country we had in the past that could hear appeals from the right for fiscal sanity.

Those waiting for a refund are part of the parasite class compared to those whose tax money leaves their pockets never to return.

Those waiting for a refund either didn’t declare their exemptions properly, overpaid estimated taxes or had a year with increased deductions. Seriously, we can’t get out of this mess if people don’t even grasp how personal income taxes work.

The vote has been increasing by 7% per Presidential election cycle recently. So breaking even while Obama collapsed seems to be a pretty big failure. Where did all the new voters go, since we are told how many young voters came out and voted?

Did that many people die off? I do not think so.

Romney failed to connect to the voters (poor use of advertising dollars and their message). Failed to inspire them to get out to vote (wrong policies for a country in deep recession). Failed to Get out the vote(use of untested GOTV ORCA).

All in all, we got exactly what was predicted by the ABR nuts like me.

An eminently beatable president that lost nearly 10% of his vote total from the last election winning against an uninspiring progressive who refused to attack Obama even remotely as much as he attacked stalwart conservatives in the primary.

Way to go mushies and progressive lights, your need to have a worthless person be in the Office of President has ended with a malevolent person in that office.

I’d don’t see how something has to last forever to be considered an accomplishment, though admittedly the clownish Hastert led crew did take the House back to business as usual. This of course was not Newt’s fault.

Right now with many votes still unrecorded (likely recorded this week), Romney is showing 42,000 less than McCain’s 2008 total. Romney will likely surpass McCain’s total when all the votes are officially recorded and certified.

Obama JUST BARELY won this election and his loss of votes was actually pretty significant. Romney saw no significant loss of support from McCain though some 1.2 million votes likely got siphoned off to Johnson, most of which would likely have gone Republican. So had there not been a Libertarian candidate, we might have seen Romney up a million on McCain’s with Obama still down over 5 million.
