JFK said a rising sea lifts all boats. That’s not enough for minorities (and women apparently) anymore. They need special care and attention. They need…gifts.

And a little personal antidote. I have a sister who works as
a server. She told me that five years ago or so, the restaurant
installed a new software system for the servers to input their orders. Because it had a “glitch”, when the servers
used their finger on the touch screen to put in “steak” for example, “pork chops” would print out instead. Sounds familiar?

Our founding philosophy has been utterly destroyed. Our children’s heads put into the economic yoke of socialism. And yet you sit in here nattering on about “Mittens”. And that, after you’ve spent two years smearing feces on the only candidate we had who could have routed Obama from the White House. Mitt Romney is a GOOD man, a man of integrity, generous, intelligent, one with the perfect skill set to pull us from the brink of economic ruin. And even now, after it’s over and we’ve lost everything that made this country “exceptional”, you sit around flinging poo like a bunch of bored monkeys.

This isn’t about where Mitt Romney went wrong. It’s about where YOU went wrong. And if you were voting third party, writing in some crackpot, or staying home… well, you get what you voted for.

The power of the Executive to cast a man into prison without formulating any charge known to the law, and particularly to deny him the judgment of his peers, is in the highest degree odious and is the foundation of all totalitarian government whether Nazi or Communist.

George W. Bush, despite having a bust of the great English statesman, violated this maxim (and American law) by establishing a legal black hole for terrorism suspects at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Barack Obama doesn’t even bother with the challenges involved in kidnapping persons without due process; he just kills them.

As long as Republicans are a part of this, they will lose the argument, and the election.

But I also saw a candidate who seemed by nature almost uniquely ill-equipped to appeal to the young and minority voters who ended up playing a key role in his electoral demise.

Members of the press who traveled with Romney in 2007 and early 2008 began slowly to pick up on what would become an established media narrative by the time Romney was the 2012 front-runner: The former Massachusetts governor didn’t just have a difficult time relating to young and minority voters, he often came across as a walking-talking time warp from the 1950s…

Why is the fact he was a former Massachusetts Governor less important to his loss than the fact he somehow didn’t relate to the young? How many conservatives were wary of him during the primaries? How many hated him like they hated McCain? I was one for a time. You saw it everywhere. Why isn’t that said in this analysis? Why is that ignored? Why does this author, like so many other authors somehow think Romney being a moderate from Massachusetts, formally pro-choice and pro-ObamaCare, is some how not a factor to anything. No.. they want you to think it was his slight conservative side that made him lose. His “traditional values” side was some how was his greatest obstacle?
Sorry. Not so.

Romney was a moderate. A nice and kind moderate. A well meaning family moderate who on video stated he was pro-choice when he ran to the left of Ted Kennedy. Romney was the nice GOP nominee for President who was just a terrific guy, although moderate, who pledged to reach across the aisle, who called the Marxist Obama a nice guy too. Romney kept his campaign to the economy, not to the battle for the soul of our nation.
This campaign was a battle for the soul of our nation. It went to the heart of our constitution. It was a war between two very different futures. One of socialism/communism and one of self-government. Obama would not be a nice guy if he wanted to turn American into a socialist country. Obama voted to withhold treatment from babies born alive in abortions. Obama is in the middle of dismantling our nuclear deterrent. Obama is actively engaged in a war against our economy. Obama told the leader of a communist nation, our adversary in the cold war, that he would be more flexible after his election. Obama began his freaking campaign in the living room of a former unrepentant terrorist who was quoted in a major newspaper on 9/11 that they didn’t bomb enough of America. And Romney ignored all of that and focused on jobs while calling Obama a nice guy. And yet, 3,000,00 people who chose not to support either candidate are called stupid and none of what I just stated, all real facts, are in a single analysis of why Romney lost.

Voter inputs “Romney” and “Obama” prints out. This happened
in how many states? Military votes not counted? Chicago bringing
in voters (wearing Chicago Bears clothing; well, noone said the Chicago lib voters are smart; and it doesn’t really matter anyways because they keep getting away with it) on buses to vote in Wisconsin? More people voting than are registered? People who went to vote and were told they already voted? Who did their voting? Want to bet those votes were for Obama?

We can talk all we want about this, that and the other thing
in this country, however, until we guarantee safe and secure
elections, all else is for nought!

Yeah everyone has 20-20 hindsight. You’re not going to beat the media and Whollywood. They have turned this into purely a Identity popularity contest. The majority of voters are not concerned with good governance anymore. You had the most experienced Man for the job you could have had. But the race was not about qualifications or policy in the minds of the majority of voters.

Americans are becoming more apathetic. This election was down 7 million voters form 08 , and should have seen an increase of at least that much, maybe 10 million new voters as a natural population trend grows.

It’s pretty simple. 15 million voters went missing. Blame Romney like Barky blames Bush, but the majority of Americans are just spectators. And the Marxist in Chief had a slightly, yes SLIGHTLY, better show to vote for.

I live in a building that shows up at the right edge of frame at the 2:17 and 2:35 marks.

on an assumption that young voters and minorities would turn out in lesser numbers than they did in 2008.

What a strategy…. He didn’t deserve to win. God’s will
