Honestly,that’s how the GOP should play this. The Dems made their bread and butter with the “War on Women,” which was a stupid but memorable phrase. You guys keep thinking that there is a double standard at work here when it is obvious that there is only a single standard, (long noticed by race realists). That standard is (as laid down by blogger “Oscar the Grinch”:

If you vote no at her confirmation hearing, it’s not because you want to send a message to O about not lying to Americans. It’s because you hate women and minorities. Republicans, in fact, have already started to tone down the attacks on her, whether because they don’t want to have to deal with this nonsense or because, more likely, they realize that Rice is a footnote to the larger Benghazi inquiry and they don’t want to get bogged down with her.

The only thing more pathetic than this desperate tactic is the fact that it works. Back when there was a chance to fix the housing crisis before it became a crisis, the House Republicans had the majority and were moving in the direction of reform. To prevent that from happening, the Democrats sent the Congressional Black Caucus out to paint all attempts at reform as racism.

And the whole push for reform just withered.

Just to be clear, the problem with the Congressional Black Caucus is not that they’re black, but that they always line up in defense of Democrat policies, and that no one wants to cross them for fear of being called racists.

And thanks to the CBC being such faithful defenders of Democrats at all cost, we had a huge economic crisis at a time when it looked like Obama would be an also-ran candidate for president, and we wound up with Captain Kickass in an eight-year starring role.

We all know these types are opportunists and political prostitutes, but what sucks is that the average American has to live with the consequences of what Powers and her ilk bring about by controlling the message, squelching honest questions, redacting news items that go against their side’s ideology, and utilizing plain old propaganda.

With all due respect, it’s unlikely that AP has that much “juice” to do any damage to conservatives.
Having said that, it is my opinion that opinion that AP stop being like a flit hack main stream media journalist and be more his “own man”.
