Yep: Eric Holder to stay on as Obama’s attorney general
posted at 1:01 pm on November 13, 2012 by Erika Johnsen
For a moment there, I was tempted to write that I am flabbergasted by the level of brazen contemptuousness that Obama & Friends somehow rarely fail to display, but on second thought, no — hardly anything that they do surprises me anymore. They do this stuff all the time: Instead of gently learning their lessons and backing away from mistakes, failures, and consequences, they just forge right on ahead with them, audaciously plowing through like nothing is the matter, so we’re all eventually forced to stop being outraged and just get on with it. Billions of taxpayer dollars lost on the government’s venture-socialist, crony “investments” in green energy? More, please! Trillions in stimulus over four years giving us the same unemployment rate we started with, but after countless more joined the welfare rolls? We clearly just haven’t spent enough. Mind-numbing mismanagement (and that’s just what we’ve been able to prove it was) from the leader of the Department of Justice leads to the deaths of at least two Americans and countless Mexicans? He deserves a second shot, obviously.
Anybody else might have just the tiniest inkling of shame and use the opportunity of typical second-term cabinet reshuffling as an opportunity to just bow out gracefully, but no — no quitting while they’re behind for these guys. The NY Post reports:
President Obama is holding on to Eric Holder as the nation’s top law-enforcement official, The Post has learned.
The newly re-elected president asked his controversial attorney general to stay for the second term, and Holder has agreed despite enduring a firestorm of criticism from Republican lawmakers.
“I don’t know if everyone in the White House wants him [Holder] to stay, but the important guy does, and that’s all that matters,” said one person briefed on the matter.
So not only is President Obama considering pretty much promoting Ambassador Susan Rice to Secretary of State after they sent her out to spin tall tales about “videos” and “spontaneous protests” after four Americans died in the 9/11/12 attacks in Benghazi (although, perhaps that level of committed dutifulness is precisely what Obama’s looking for), but now he’s re-upping the tenure of an attorney general who has — at best – proven his utter incompetence in running his department and that he somehow managed to stay miraculously uninformed about major but apparently pointless and ill-conceived gunwalking operations. Why don’t you just give America a nice paper cut and pour lemon juice on it, while you’re at it?

It looks like Holder has become the new J. Edgar Hoover. Just how many files does he have on political foes?
SC.Charlie on November 13, 2012 at 2:13 PM
Probably staying on to investigate 2012 voter fraud.
BKeyser on November 13, 2012 at 2:14 PM
Forget Fast and Furious……… Forget the Benghazi debacle that occurred on September 11, 2012. Sexual indiscretions trump the real serious matters all the time.
SC.Charlie on November 13, 2012 at 2:17 PM
Huh?
No you’re not even making sense.
What’s the problem – can’t you explain this?
Really? Why bother since ‘we’re not anywhere close to bankruptcy.’
Chip on November 13, 2012 at 2:18 PM
There’s an entire social justice agenda, black preference agenda, and several coverups to shove right up our asses, still. Anyone who thought Holder was walking away from that is a moron.

Criminals have to stay together i guess..this is freaking insane..if there was truly any justice with this administration, both Obama and especially Holder would of been impeached or in jail by now

There’s that problem Obama worshipers have with basic math again.
Trillion plus dollar “deficits don’t matter, other than to the people who loan the money to finance them who may not be paid back or who may be paid back in highly inflated dollars, and other than to the people who have to pay interest on all the debt and who will have try to pay it back without having their own expenses and investments highly inflated, no they don’t matter.
Obviously Weimar Germany had the right idea. Just keep printing more money to finance debt and deficits. All will work out well in the end.
And if they don’t matter why bother raises taxes on anyone? And why bother trying to control spending? Because “deficits don’t matter”.

Does everyone realize that Obama is likely to nominate Eric Holder to fill the next Supreme Court vacancy?
xstatic on November 13, 2012 at 3:13 PM
Yeah, I should of guessed that after the first couple of responses.

He has to stay to be in charge of giving Mexicans a lot of money in their wrongful death lawsuits as a result of Fast and Furious.

Of course it isn’t. But we’re just going along with it, because that makes it all the funnier when rogerb zings ‘em but good.

It’s good to know that the Chief Law Breaker of the country will remain in place instead of even trying to get a Chief Law Enforcement Officer.

It doesn’t matter if Holder stays on. Whoever Obama would have put in his place would have been just as bad or worse.
RebeccaH on November 13, 2012 at 4:06 PM
What’s the point of caring anymore? The complicit media won’t hold Obama and his administration accountable for anything. I bet Obama could kill a citizen in broad daylight with plenty of video and the media would still cover it up for him.

I won.
Sincerely,
B.Obama

You seem to forget that he’s not controversial at all to 51% of voters. He’s heroic and brave and steely — and even better, the Rethuglicans can’t touch him because of his race.

Jill Kelly spent last summer at Martha’s Vineyard with the democratic reelection committee. She is in debt over 2 million dollars. The revolutionary/progressives need to weaken and discredit our military, then they can fundamental transformation and overthrow the US gov.

What ever happened to the investigation on White House leaks,
Solyndra, Jon Corzine with MF Global?
Eric Holder, that is what happened.
“Mr Cover Up” should be his nickname. Is is it any surprise Holder is knee deep in Petraeus investigation?

Let’s hope our elected Congressional Representatives, in the House and Senate, finally do their job….the one the voters sent them to Washington to do!!!! Holder is nothing but a blatant criminal and traitor. He needs to be put down!

Holder doesn’t dare get outside the presidential penumbra until he has a blanket pardon secured. It’s still too early for the pardon factory to crank up. December 2016/January 2017 will see a boatload of pardons issued, possibly including the first presidential self-pardon.

I always find the suggestion by conservative commentators that the drug lords wouldn’t of had guns if not for this program. Even funnier how they ignore the fact that all the guns were legally purchased from gun dealers. But yeah, the problem here was the program itself. If it weren’t for Holder nobody would’ve died. Ever.

Having democrats in power is like having abusive parents … the only reason the dependent child stays is because there is nowhere else for them to go.
Lets look at the history of the demoncratic party.
The party of …
- bigotry.
- hate.
- division.
- slavery.
- succesion.
- subsidies.
- welfare.
- dependence.
- poverty.
- Hiroshima & Nagasaki.
- anti-free market.
- unemployment.
- self deprecation.
