Open thread: Sunday morning talking heads

posted at 8:01 am on November 4, 2012 by Allahpundit

Surprised to see neither O nor Mitt scheduling any last-minute face time on the Sunday shows. Maybe it’s in the works and hasn’t been announced yet. If not, then the heaviest GOP hitter on tap is Rob Portman, who’ll give Ohio one last nudge in the right direction. For the Democrats it’ll be the Axelrod and Plouffe Show, now in its 200th week or so. Reason 8,357 to hope Romney wins: If he does, we almost certainly won’t see either of them next Sunday.

The line-up via the LAT:

State of the Union With Candy Crowley 2012 election: Mayor Rahm Emanuel (D-Chicago). 2012 election: Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio). Panel: Former Gov. Haley Barbour (R-Miss.); Steve Elmendorf, democratic strategist; Dana Bash; Gwen Ifill, PBS…

Face the Nation 2012 campaigns: David Gergen, Harvard; Rich Lowry, National Review; Dee Dee Myers, Vanity Fair; Peggy Noonan, Wall Street Journal. Panel: Democratic pollster Anna Greenberg; Republican strategist Leslie Sanchez; Stuart Rothenberg; Larry Sabato; Anthony Salvanto.

Meet the Press Obama campaign strategy: David Plouffe, White House advisor. Romney campaign; the Virginia battleground: Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.). Panel: Mayor Cory Booker (D-Newark, N.J.); Joe Scarborough; Republican strategist Mike Murphy; Savannah Guthrie; Tom Brokaw.

This Week With George Stephanopoulos 2012 election: White House advisor David Plouffe; Romney campaign advisor Ed Gillespie. Panel: George Will; Cokie Roberts; Ronald Brownstein; Donna Brazile; Matthew Dowd.

Fox News Sunday With Chris Wallace Obama campaign: David Axelrod, Obama advisor. Romney campaign: Rich Beeson, Romney campaign. Panel: Karl Rove; Brit Hume; Joe Trippi; Jeff Zeleny.

No, it was really a rhetorical question. His true nature is right out there for everyone to see.

Well, well, well…look who wins Independents!

HINT…it’s not Romney.

Somebody is going to need to check on gumby every hour starting about 8 pm Tuesday.

No way.

Just let him/her collapse on the basement floor from a head explosion; and expire…alone…in agony…unnoticed…unmourned.

[I do feel sorry for its poor old mom, though; having to drag that bloated carcass to the curb for disposal. Perhaps a kind neighbor will help, though.]

Roger Ailes directed his boys to play the “fair and balanced” card. Hume and Wallace, the newsies, complied by predicting a BHO victory-very transparent.

It’s time to realize we are under assault from a liberal force that has no intention of preserving the nation in any form that resembles what our founders intended. These forces have control of the Democratic Party and are bent upon attacking everything we traditionally have held dear.

It doesn’t matter if Republicans win this election handily. This minority of leftists have and will continue to control the media, entertainment and education placing themselves in good position to sway the ignorant and the gullible thereby, over a little more time, gaining the power to transform the country without Obama. This has always been their goal; only Obama, with control of all three branches of government, had the arrogance to say it out loud.

Unless we are able to regain some influence in the media, entertainment and education the propaganda from these pedestals of power will likely doom us in the long term.

We will learn in this election cycle if it is already too late. Even a close election will likely spell our doom, showing us how far down the road to self destruction we have unknowingly traveled. It may well be that the forces of liberalism, having captured these fields of influence, cannot be reversed with a people that long ago abandoned any form of principle, faith and since of duty to country.

I’m hoping for an Obama loss if only to get rid of Axelrod.

You and I both have the same thoughts. The rats are entrenched in every system in this nation and they have taken advantage of our freedom to do so.

I’ll just stop here.

Our only hope is that God will intervene in some fashion IF we as a nation return to Him.

BTW, I just looked at your site. You paint the same subjects that I do. Admire your work greatly.

Up Obama’s ass.

Just came in from working in the yard all day. Turned on Fox News Sunday. A$$hole-rod lying and lying and lying. And then lying some more. This POS would not know the truth if it laid eggs in his moustache. But there is hope–he will have to shave it off on Wednesday morning.

The word is getting out on these media rats. Bengazhi will be
“the straw that broke the camel’s back”.

The pendulem will start swinging the other way, towards religion
and against things in poor taste. Since more citizens are center
right than left of center, these media institutions will be
mostly ignored, losing viewership as people determine their news
is untrustworthy.
