Saw this earlier. Shameless example of children being used to further corrupt the political discourse. These kids were tricked in to saying things that make redistribution sound bad by being bribed with candy AKA crony capitalism.

Linking to that progaganda video supporting Obama demonstrates your delusional state. The redistribution video above depicts kids’ honest reactions. The video you linked to shows up a group of obviously brainwashed or coerced children.

So basically the video stands for the idea that people (even children!) don’t like to give up their possessions? There’s not really much insight there.

Also Of course you’re making an instinctual/naturalistic argument. The alternative would be that the kids don’t want to give up their candy because they were taught to feel that way (which is bonkers).

This was a church parking lot, so these children have probably been indoctrinated in a Biblical world view. “Thou shalt not steal” indicates that God himself declared people have ownership over what they earn or recieve. “Thou shalt not covet” indicates that God frowns upon others thinking they should take someone else’s stuff. These kids were taught to honor others by not taking or wanting to take each other’s stuff. They probably also have been taught to share what God has given them. If asked to help, they probably would have willingly given candy to help those who did not have enough.

I know! It’s even worse because I don’t censor them at all on youtube.

We had to get the parents permission beforehand, but they didn’t tell the kids.

At one point though, we had spoken with a mom who unbeknownst to us, did not notify the dad. He got pretty aggressive preeeettty quickly.

Or were the parents so indoctrinated already that they agreed?!

And so, kid, what do you do when it’s the police (OK, tax police) who are doing the taking?

Been a fan of Crowder’s videos for some time. You should see some of the vicious crap liberals leave on his comment threads. Man, they do not like being tweaked. It’s fricking hilarious!

Comes naturally, until indoctrinated out of them by the left. Well, with the provisio that it will be other people’s hard-earned assets that will be redistributed.

You have got to find a way to do this on a college campus with grades. Everyone’s heard the stories of redistribution of academic performance making students go crazy, (probably an urban legend of it actually happening) but I’d love to see it on film. Surely there’s a college professor out there somewhere who would let “Prof. Crowder” sub for a day?

As a teacher of middle school I had to instruct on the concepts of the buying of indulgences to the students. I started the class by stating that the school district was in need of funds, so to help raise money the district office allowed for students to raise their grades by paying X amount per grade raise. After reading the fake letter announcement I asked the kids what they thought. The hard working kids went irate and the low end kids were already pulling money from their wallets.
Something like this could be arranged in a classroom with redistributing grades for a “Equal Outcome” which is the desired goals of nearly every school district in America

and according to that thinking ALL taxes are morally wrong. Without taxes there can be no government.

Do you honestly want to live in a world with no government?

No, we as the tax payers have an agreement with the government to pay a certain amount of taxes. The idea that the government can take under the premise of being a “fair share” is what is wrong. Taxes should be equal amongst everyone, which is why the constitution was against taxing incomes, until the 16th Amendment came around.

You work hard, you pay just the same as if you don’t work hard. If you work harder and earn more, you keep more.

No one is making some kind of a naturalistic, purely instinctual argument. The video is an example used to illustrate the difference between right and wrong.

Even kids recognize that there is inherent good and evil in this world. That’s the point.

Kids understand better than most about the unalienable rights that they were born with.

What would be fun is if you could do a piece like this involving high-school or college students where, with a teacher/professor accomplice, you were brought in to “redistribute” their grades following a test. They’d see their actual grade on their paper and the new “redistributed” grade. Before handing out the papers, you could start with discussing fairness in taxation and almost all of then would likely agree that rich people should pay higher taxes than the poor. Then, spring the grades on them.
