This statement was no accident. This was a ‘f@ck you’.

The outspoken Republican governor, who gave the keynote address at this year’s GOP convention and endorsed Romney, has been effusive in his praise for the president in the aftermath of the storm.

“The federal government’s response has been great. I was on the phone at midnight again last night with the president, personally — he has expedited the designation of New Jersey as a major disaster area,” Christie told NBC News on Tuesday.

Asked by reporters if Romney might also visit the state, as had been previously rumored, Christie said he had “no idea, nor am I the least bit concerned or interested.”

“If you think right now I give a damn about presidential politics, then you don’t know me,” Christie added.

Screw you Christie . . . you belong in that dark blue state.

By visiting New Jersey, Obama is doing what any president would do and campaigning in a dark blue state does nothing for him. If Obama would have shown this much interest when his ambassador and 3 other Americans were being attacked and murdered maybe they would still be alive. This little kabuki dance he's doing with Christie is as phony as a $3 bill.

This is from the article currently linked at the top of Drudge. You know, I'm not happy with how Chris Christie is going out of his way to promote Obama. That is totally unnecessary. This will not be forgotten.

Seems like Chris Christie cares about himself first and making himself appear so above it all.

I meant to post this here. This is an excellent point that someone made in another thread recently:

Obama took independents by about 7 last time. He’s losing them by about 10 this time.
Also, everyone should remember that the Dems have been pushing their most reliable voters into early voting, while the GOP has been going after marginal voters. Election Day is going to lean GOP even more than usual.

Yet how embarrassed and chagrined the sycophants in Barack Obama's Situation Room must have been by the heroics of two American former SEALs who disobeyed orders twice repeated, rescued whomever they could from the besieged consulate, and then died defending them. But how embarrassed and chagrined we should be at the leadership which let them die rather than stand up to Barack Obama. Because if the people among that leadership had but half the courage of those two Navy SEALs who disobeyed direct orders and saved the Americans at the consulate, Obama, with only weeks to go before his hoped for re-election, would have folded, because he is not a brave man himself -- only clever and calculating.

Indeed, what Benghazi teaches us is not only have we a faulty system of command, but that there aren't any men in Barack Obama's White House. Except of course those enlisted Marines he has in dress blues holding the doors open for his friends. They could have told him what to do and where to get off.

Obama sure looked like he had some great video and tools in that situation room pic after Sandy......mmmmmmm

And WHY didn't he send aid to help those brave Americans being brutalized by the Muslim thugs in Benghazi????

Did he watch it happen?

For him, was it just another moment like the Limp bodies of the babies that he talked about in the Illinois Senate?

Another day, another set of bad polls for Obama.

Even with ridiculously oversampling Democrats, these polls still can't mask the bad news for Obama.

No wonder the Obama campaign is in a state of panic.
