Just as Mayor Bloomberg said thanks but no thanks to Obama visiting New York City, Governor Christie should have done the same thing.

Why? A Presidential / Gubernatorial visit at this juncture takes needed resources away from helping people who are in distress.

Frankly, this smacks of political “grandstanding” by both Obama and Christie.

That statement is dumb – plenty of people thought Mitt was going to beat 0we-bow-mao badly that first debate, including me, which I argued to a lefty over on Twitchy a week before their debate.

The Red Debate was the first time a Republican candidate has basically won a debate since Reagan. Mainly the MSM has to make sure these things are at least ties for the Dems.

As for optimism, I’m all for cautious optimism, but I really that Pollyanna stuff is annoying. The same people saying that we’re going to win this were also saying that McCain was going to win in 2008.. So it is really hard for me to believe you this time around.

Obama saving a new born baby would be a nice change of pace. The last time Obama had anything to do with new born babies, he was advocating that a baby that somehow survived an abortion should be refused care and allowed to die.

Congress didn’t cut embassy security. They cut generic funding. It’s pure demagoguery to claim that it was the fault of Congress that the State Department cut security in Libya. There’s no evidence at all that it was cut due to a lack of funding. That’s just a wild reach to shift the blame away from the department that actually has the responsibility to protect its people.

A baby conceived, whether in rape or not, is already alive. By definition. So your whole rationalization is based on the nonsensical notion that God would be fine with us killing the baby. It's pretty funny to watch you try to draw up in moral outrage over this. You might want to think that one through before making such an absurd argument again. You're effectively arguing that it is the will of God to end inconvenient life. Check the Ten Commandments. I think one of them covers this ground.
