It’s weird to me in one way when I see people like chumpThreads, who don’t understand that “honesty is the best policy”.

No one likes to be wrong, but we all are at some point, and fighting against that only leads to prolonged unhappiness and embarrassment – it’s so much easier to just say, “I’m wrong”, isn’t it? And, when we do, we get the added bonus of having others genuinely like us!

Romney was 100% right to attack Obama for blaming the attack on, and condemning, Free Speech. It was despicable for Obama to do that even IF the attacks were a result of a youtube protest. It’s even more despicable for Obama to have done that now that we know that the attacks weren’t youtube protests. Now it’s even more despicable now that we know that he’s playing games about disclosing details about efforts to provide help to Americans under attack.

I believe the facts should come out when they are fully established.

How Conservatives on Twitter Forced Obama to Face the Benghazi Debacle

Kyle Clark of Channel 9 News was able to secure an interview with President Obama, and to his great credit, opened up to twitter for suggestions on what questions he should ask:

The writer then goes through how conservatives started spreading this around and tweeting to Clark to ask about Benghazi.

. . . a local reporter taking question suggestions from twitter forced Obama to face a real question about Benghazi.

Clark clarified that his questioning to Obama had to do precisely with any denials of security during the attack – not before:

It was discovered that the viral #BenghaziGate tag was being blocked from Trend determination as was #Benghazi. Conservatives early this morning shifted to the #7HoursInHell tag to help spread the word that the MSM is hiding… soon enough that hashtag was blocked as well.

To beat them at their own game, conservatives are taking the conversation to the #Forward2012 tag normally used by the Obama campaign. They cannot block that one AND they cannot prevent the ObamaZombies from seeing the discussion either.

I haven’t been rude to you. Why did you feel the urge to get defensive, testy, and bossy with me in such a passive-aggressive manner? It makes you seem small and insecure.

I believe the facts should come out when they are fully established. And no, this issue is NOT going to be resolved before next Tuesday. Period.

The Administration should determine the timeline as opposed to, say, Darrell Issa who compromised Libyan allies in his haste to score political points. Do I need to mention Mitt’s take on the situation within a day of the attack?

That question isn’t quite leading enough. Could you crank up the bias a little more?

The American electorate can be as informed as it wants to be, and as non-informed as it likes. Please don’t even try to frame this as vigilant, Republicans looking out for the interests of the people. They are looking to score points.

Ok, now I have you on record: 1) expressing that you believe Obama’s administration should be the decider on when it releases information to public, w/no authoritative Congressional oversight, meaning you don’t believe in the law as it is written or in co-equal branches of government; 2) veering into snark, which shows that you are not a serious conversationalist who values the truth more than your personal feelings; 3) passive-aggressively dictating how you want the conversation to go, which reveals an authoritarian streak you are ashamed of on some level; 4) showing that you care more about perceived political gaming by Republicans than you do by any Obama’s administration might be engaged in, which proves that you are partisan political hack.

I predict that you will not be able to address what I just said here on a factual level, but rather a personal one, and, if that is the case, you’d be better off blowing it off like you first did my last one to you! :)

And it also looks like it’s possible that Gen. Ham may have potentially been the one who may have tried to do the right thing during the attack…and he’s the only one that’s been replaced.

That’s all fine and dandy (and your remarks are completely hypocritical) – but Bush never stood and watched on television as Americans fought to their deaths; and not only did nothing – but denied them assistance which could have saved them.
