The same here in NC. I haven’t seen a single Obama ad in a couple of days now, and only one or two Romney ads. They were non-stop two weeks ago.

He’s not the one telling us what we can eat and drink. That would be Michelle and Nanny Bloomberg. For all the hysteria from leftists about how righties want to tell everyone how to live their lives, it’s actually their side who wants to micromanage everyone from birth to death.

What in the world does that statement and question have anything to do with the thread?

Is that all you have about ANY politician telling it like it is? If so, you lose.

As much good as the Big Guy is doing as a surrogate, I wish he stayed in New Jersey all the way until 2017 and beyond. He can achieve things in our bluer-than-sky state that no other governor can. If he leaves to work for President Romney, we’ll likely be stuck with Cory Booker. He’s not a bad guy as Democrats go, but he’s still a Democrat.

Just another coupla’ weeks. He isn’t going to DC to be anything in an R administration, at least not now. He’ll run again in ’16–whether or not fellow jerseyans reelect him–who knows at that point. As an aside, while I don’t agree with him on many points, at least the increase in our property taxes/year has been cut in half, and here (Passaic Cty., that’s a huge thing.) I also agree, while Booker isn’t a ‘bad guy,’ he’s a jersey dem.

As wary as I am of speaking too soon, as a lifelong Virginia resident, I’m starting to get a creeping (though completely nonscientific) feeling in my gut that the commonwealth is starting to lean towards Mitt Romney.

Obama has changed Washington. He has taken great strides in making it much more like Chicago.
