Start a war a week before an election when we haven’t been attacked?

I’m as cynical as they come when it comes to the Chicago Gang and what they are capable of, but I doubt they will do that. It would almost certainly backfire.

Yeah right – except you forgot who is in charge. Since when did Owe ever worry about: the law, the American people, or our allies?

I predicted to a friend days ago that Owe would not show up to tomorrow’s debate. I suggested that something that will be said to affect national security (bomb Syria, bomb Libya, Israel bombing Iran with US blessings, etc.) will happen.

After all, who in Owe’s position would attend that debate?

Democrats criticize Republican for leaking sensitive Libya papers

WASHINGTON | Sun Oct 21, 2012 3:12pm EDT

(Reuters) – The U.S. Senate’s number two Democrat and others in his party criticized a Republican House of Representatives committee chairman on Sunday for releasing government documents related to last month’s violent attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi.

Senator Richard Durbin charged that Darrell Issa, chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, had politicized the Benghazi events during a presidential election campaign, in particular by releasing sensitive papers with the names of Libyans who have worked with the United States.

“This idea of Chairman Issa, that he’s going to dump the names in public of Libyans who are risking their lives to support America and keep us safe in an effort to get a political toehold in this election is unconscionable. It is unacceptable,” Durbin, the Senate’s Democratic whip, told “Fox News Sunday.”

David Axelrod, a campaign adviser to President Barack Obama, also blasted Issa, charging it was “disgraceful” that he had released government papers “to score political points in the final weeks before an election.”

Issa released 166 pages of unclassified memos, diplomatic cables and other government documents related to the Benghazi mission on Friday as part of his committee’s investigation of the attack in the eastern Libyan city. The papers were not classified, but some were diplomatic communications marked “sensitive.”

The documents showed that U.S. officials in Libya sought more security resources for what they hoped would be a permanent American presence in Benghazi before the mission was attacked.

Dang! I serious thought. Bombing Iran would show conservatives he’s serious about defending the US. It would be seen as a short-term action by his supporters. It would show he’s an ally of Israel. It would dominate the news cycle, swamping Romney and making him as after-thought in the evening news. It would ralley the nation around him as a President-during-war.

This is the first thing the regime would do when planning their strategery. Mitt shouldn’t even bring this up tomorrow. Sounds like a trap question to me.

What hit me was Trevor practically begging us Americans to do the right thing , he has done so much to make us realize what kind of danger we will put ourselves and the rest of the world in if we vote this pathetic excuse of a man in to office . Americans know more about baby Trigg’s genetics than we know about the people who have been plotting to destroy our country for decades.

“The President was informed of the tragic shooting in Wisconsin earlier today at 1:30pm EDT by his Advisor for Homeland Security, John Brennan.

At 2:30pm EDT, the President received a follow-up briefing from FBI Director Bob Mueller, his Chief of Staff, Jack Lew, and Advisor for Homeland Security John Brennan. The President was told there was an active shooter in Brookfield, Wisconsin. The President was informed that the shooting did not appear to be terrorism-related. The FBI is on the scene and is supporting the Brookfield, Wisconsin police department while they respond to the on-going situation. The President instructed the FBI to ensure that the state and local officials had the full support of the Federal government.

The President and First Lady’s thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this horrible shooting and their families.”

Here’s a thought: they leaked this as a way to establish that Iran has refused final attempts at negotiation. Why? Obama plans to bomb Iran in first week of November, and this story helps prep it.

Biden already established that the impeccable intelligence agencies will tell us when Iran weaponizes a nuke. Then and only then will we take action on Iran. I think there will be military action in Libya, where the impeccable intelligence agencies supposedly couldn’t tell us AQ was lurking in Benghazi.
