Video: Let’s ask young Obama supporters what they think about Benghazi

posted at 8:01 pm on October 18, 2012 by Mary Katharine Ham

I can’t resist this delicious piece of video from an Obama rally at a Ohio university from our friends at Revealing Politics. The way Kelly Maher tells it, this endeavor started innocently as a project to determine whether rank-and-file Obama supporters had bought the line about Benghazi being caused by a YouTube video. As you’ll see, none of them is even capable of buying a line. They don’t even know where their wallets are.

Amazing and dismaying, this inadvertent Jaywalking. As Kelly points out, this is a self-selected group of politically involved college students you’d assume would know more than the average college student. Yikes. What it looks like is a group of college students not even willing to watch The Daily Show to get their news. And, this is what makes me uncertain that a foreign-policy debate can change the dynamic of the race at this point, although more experienced pundits than I disagree.

This is a perfect example of the Indoctrination of Ideology, matched with the willful ignorance of anything that doesn’t have to do with Ideology! This what universities put out as a result of their leftist indoctrination! I keep telling people, this is as bad for the future of our country, as the Epic Failures we are being subjected to, in the economy & energy. The political brain washing has to stop & “professors” who teach this in anything other than a class on communism, should be fired for Fraud & misleading the students.

That’s laughable, coming from the party that refuses to acknowledge the validity of evolutionary science. Clearly the top scientific minds in this country are not Republicans.

And it’s even more absurd to tout Romney, the candidate who formally stated his position against dedicating more resources to hunting down bin Ladan… unbelievable.

But no, let’s pretend that attacks on US embassies occur only because Obama doesn’t care. Or that killing most of the al Qaeda leadership is suddenly irrelevant.

Obama KNOWS his supporters are complete morons.

That is why Team Obama sent buses to take these young skulls full of mush directly to the early voting locations.

Certainly can’t trust these children to find the voting booths all by themselves.

Obama told young voters at a large rally at Ohio State University not to wait or delay their vote, directing them to buses that were waiting to give them rides to early voting locations in one of the nation’s top battleground states.

That’s why all these big stars do these crazy, terrible things and two years later they’re back in the biz, you know. ‘Cause the public has a short memory. Let me give you a little test, okay? This is my thesis — the public has a short memory and, like– How many people remember, a couple of years ago, when the Earth blew up? How many people? See? So few people remember. And you would think that something like that, people would remember. But NOOO! You don’t remember that? The Earth blew up and was completely destroyed? And we escaped to this planet on the giant Space Ark? Where have you people been? Hope Romney and staff see this video. Given all the publicity about Benghazi, I don’t know what foreign policy these folks would care about — or even if they can locate Europe, Canada, or China on a globe. In the last debate Romney and Obama got way down in the weeds for these folks to begin to understand. Obama defended himself with a tenuous reference at best– the turn of the phrase depending if you took the full context or a portions. How is Romney going to explain the mess we are in to these folks if they don’t know what or how about Iran, Syria or Libya. I do have some sympathy for these college kids, when I was in school, I was pretty much nose to the grindstone or screwing around with friends — no news for 4 years (except the ruckus at the DNC convention in Chgo; Vietnam stuff was ongoing.).

And with the new one in Iowa, my kids tell me he is mocked on a daily basis, although there are some adamant Oboobi fans–my sense is that at best only 30% oc the parents are democrat. More importantly, very few signs for Oboobi, neck, even Ron Paul signs are not rare. But go across town to where most of the 47% live and it’s probably 80% for Oboobi, even so, done signs are few and far between.
