Video: Mother of State Dep’t worker killed in Benghazi begs White House to stop stonewalling her

Via the Standard, which has a transcript. You’ve watched a lot of clips about Benghazi today but none of them bring home the anguish of Stevens and his team finding themselves defenseless inside a terrorist maelstrom the way this one does. Her exasperation at the administration is gut-wrenching, all the more so because she met personally with Obama, Hillary, Panetta and the rest of the “spontaneous protest” crew and was assured that they were working quickly to find out what happened. Back in reality, the FBI didn’t even get to the consulate to investigate until a few days ago thanks in part to agency infighting between the Bureau and State. Presumably, at this point, they’ll never be able to give her a firm answer about how her son died.
In fact, it was her son, Sean Smith, who in his final hours ended up raising one of the great unanswered questions about the attack. Remember this item at Eurogamer, posted the day after Smith was killed?
Gianturco shared a chat room message posted by Vile Rat [a.k.a. Smith], presumably from earlier that day.
“(12:54:09 PM) vile_rat: assuming we don’t die tonight. We saw one of our ‘police’ that guard the compound taking pictures.”
I haven’t heard anything about the mysterious picture-taking Libyan “policeman” since then. Over to you, Rep. Issa.

I am absolutely done with this administration. I have had to console a second party over the last month on Sean Smith’s death. It is outrageous to me that the MSM has referred to him as the ‘fourth American.’
Thank you, Mrs. Smith, for your sacrifice to this Nation. (Your son’s sister-in-law worked with Melanie.) We were all devastated by the loss of your son, Sean. We further applaud you for seeking answers from our government who owes them to you–don’t let up–you need and deserve your answers,
It is appalling to me how any C-in-C could fathom to mail form letters to the surviving family members of American Heroes and consider that the end of his/her commitment to our nation.
While Mrs. Obama and Mrs. Biden go on their ‘military tour,’ the military is left behind. So, tour as many cities as you will, ladies, until you address the real issues, all you offer is a bunch of chatter.
God-speed and God bless, Mrs. Smith. May your son, Sean, rest in high heaven.

He’s the first (half) black president. He could drive around town shooting random people and they’d never impeach him. Hell, he could blow up the White House while screaming Allahu Akbar and they wouldn’t impeach him. He’s historic. Too big to fail.

And how about Michelle Malkin? She was absolutely on fiyah ripping the Obama administration. Anymore, during her Wednesday night segments on Hannity (one of the few reasons to watch Hannity), she practically loses her breath as she tears Obama a new a**hole every week. She’s awesome.

ON a side note… I’ve come to the conclusion that a lot of secrecy causes us more harm than good. In this situation, is all cover up and incompetency. But secrecy as rule is damaging. Most of the time they engage in secrecy in the foreign affairs is just to keep from damaging some slime ball or corrupt nation.

Believe it, or not…HuffPo did run the sister’s comments as an update. When I cut and pasted it, I was told only the mother’s views counted. I think I’ll post this video and see what the Obamophiles come back with.
