I can’t join you, but want to request one subject be included in the conversational run-up to the debate: Lots of weak Obama supporters of my acquaintence are becoming persuaded by the unrebutted Democrat line that “no one can fix this!”. Our problems are bigger than the president, is what these very persuadable voters are coming to believe. We need to rebut this stupid Dem line.

Of course, it’s nothing more than bunk. Humans got us into this mess and humans will get us out; we aren’t predestined to see our economy go unalterably backwards. Obviously!

Our side needs to make the simple statement that we can fix this mess. It’s not hard (less regulation, domestic energy production, rational tax code etc), it just takes someone other than a state socialist. Let’s tell the Obama voters that they don’t have to suffer through four more years of this train-wreck of governance! It’s not a requirement.
