John Kerry agreed to the Rules and then carried in a pen (and who knows what else).

No uproar from the (Democrat) moderators, no reprimand, no requests to repose Kerry or bring him in-line with the Rules. Not to mention what he said…

We should ALL expect by now that Mitt Romney will be before a hostile audience, will be described by a hostile audience and will be “questioned” by a hostile audience, Democrats all in media and at the debate/s.

None of this means Romney will NOT be voted for by a nation that is NOT hostile toward Romney.

Romney knows his stuff like the back of his hand because he truely believes in his positions. Obama has to study polls and get briefings to know what his position is and how he got there. I want to see Romney take it to Obama like he would take it to a 3rd World dictator…which shouldn’t be too much of a stretch.

IF Romney’s aggressive and Obama is proven to be the idiot that he actually is as to the economy and our financial concerns from a leadership perspective (does Obama even HAVE skills in these areas, I tend to doubt it), then Obama’s going to go away from the debate with the Sympathy Vote: poor-widdle-Obama-was-tryin-to-be-nice-and-Miff-Rummy-beat-up-on-him…

Which should NOT discourage Romney from proving Obama to be the hapless fool he is on the economy, etc. but just stating that here because it’s almost certain that the Media will use that rationalization about Obama as I described above IF Obama comes off realistically (as unskilled and unknowledgeable).

I wish we could vote tomorrow. There’s just no comparison between Romney’s abilities and Obama’s lack of them. Obama’s ONLY ability is: he’s a good actor and “performs” the teleprompter better than most. OUr nation needss actual leadership now, not acting.

It was an hour (what part I did hear after Christy left) of Democrats posed as “Intelligentsia” (my term for how they behaved), parroting most angles of the Obama relection campaign, “curiously” “asking” “why is Romney losing” and similar.

The neutral people who have yet to decide are probably smart enough to see through any ambush the moderators/media can set so it will backfire. If they see unfair treatment, they’ll see through it.

Romney in a debate can move faster than the speed of suck. Romney behind a podium in a debate format can reach heights of suckiness undreamed of by you earth-bound mortals who belly-crawl through life following candidates like Romney. Romney in front of a television camera in an unscripted format can achieve a near perfect vacuum of absolute suck.

Actually, you are. The idea that only hardcore Republicans can appreciate rebukes to the smugly elite and lying media is ridiculous. The media is now the most disliked and distrusted institution in America — not just by conservatives. Beyond that, Romney has reached a point at which challenging the media is no longer a luxury. These people are openly at war with him — and, really, with America. It is simply moral dereliction to pretend any longer this isn’t true. The failure to address the vicious journalistic degeneration of the media is far more than a political miscalculation. How he does it is, of course, always the challenge. But NOT to do it at all will seal Romney’s fate as a man who misunderstood his moment and failed his country.

I saw the debates in 2008 and in 2012, and he has demonstrably improved since then.

Christie is another moderate like McCain, Romney, etc. Except he promotes himself on youtube with all his “tough talk”. When conservatives outside of NJ learn about him they will be surprised. He talks tough with the teachers’ unions….great….but on almost every other issue, he is a mess.
