You’re desperately trying to change the subject away from 9/11 and the motivation for the attack just because you can find a picture of people holding up some signs – people who had nothing to do with 9/11. We aren’t talking about those people and their signs; the claim was made that we were attacked on 9/11 because “They want to impose dhimmitude on the rest of the world’. So, frankly, I don’t care about their “sensibilities.” Their hypocrisy is too much of a barrier.

I do, however, want to make it clear that I’m not applauding Nakoula Basseley Nakoula’s film. It is amateurish and probably vile, but there are two important points that we need to keep in mind:

1. Obviously, free speech trumps feelings. Period. Story. End of.

2. Nakoula is an Egyptian Coptic Christian. The Morsi government has been persecuting Copts and the Salafists have been slaughtering them. Islamists in the Middle East, the Obama administration, the media, and Useful Infidels here and abroad have been screaming about the need for “religious tolerance” for the last week, but read what Morsi said about those belonging to Mr Nakoula’s faith:

“[Coptic Christians] need to know that conquest in coming, and Egypt will be Islamic, and thay they must pay the jizya or emigrate.”

It is enormously hypocritical of Morsi and the MB in Egypt to raise the issue and it is stunningly ignorant of the Useful Infidels here to speak as though Muslims are the only people being “offended” or persecuted. Further, the idiots like Mike Barnicle, Bill Press and others calling for Nakoula’s criminal prosecution should learn the story of Robert Goldstein.

You’re the one dismissing the motivation for 9/11 being the desire of Islamic militants to force the world to adhere to their beliefs, and I’m pointing out to you evidence, both recent and historical, that demonstrates that very imperialistic urge. Instead of acknowledging any of it, you ignore it, because you have no worthwhile counter-argument.

No matter what those signs say, we were not attacked on 9/11 because “they want to impose dhimmitude on the rest of the world.” We were attacked due to our interventionism. It’s strange … where are all of these attacks on the U.S. prior to our Middle East interventionism? They don’t exist.

The ONLY thing that the 7thCentury savages understand is strength and power.
Dealing harshly with the radicals will teach them their proper place in the world.
As long as they fear us and respect our power…who cares if they love us?

Fearing us does not prevent them from attacking us. In fact, they LOVE war since it helps them recruit… Innocent civilians are always killed whenever we drop a bomb to kill terrorists causing their family to join the fight. That’s a vicious circle that will never stop unless the peaceful muslim (the majority of muslims) get rid of these extremists with the US help.

When there are so many people rioting right now because of our freedom of speech, are those people all that radical at all? or are they the mainstream in Islam? i clearly think it’s the latter..

Yep. About the only thing Muhammad ever prophesied is that he would kill a lot of people, and then he made his prophesy come true.

They are a source of embarassment for Muslims, because to non-Muslims, it makes Muhammad look like exactly what he was – a con artist. And even to Muslims, from this they might reason, ‘Well, if the devil can get into his head once and give him false verses, who’s to say the whole Koran isn’t from the devil?’

I’ve always thought it interesting that the Koran has very little in the way of prophecy. About one-fourth of the Bible (OT and NT) is prophecy, and it includes amazing prophecies such as the role of Cyrus in God’s plan (revealed at the end of Isaiah chapter 44 and the beginning of chapter 45) — about 150 years before Cyrus was even born.

Prophecy after prophecy foretold in the Bible has come true, which is one proof of its divine origin. Since the Koran is not from God, it is unable to contain such prophecies.

When the book got published, radical Islamists regular Muslims started riots around the world, which sounds rather familiar this month.

We have the choice to leave and to mind our own business. That would be the smart and moral choice.
