So do the ‘freedom ‘fries we could do with a laugh.
French in french fries comes from the word frenched-a way to cut a potato ,it has nothing to do with France.
It is like me saying i disagree with the country Turkey so i am going to stop eating turkey,it made as much sense as that.

I knew you sounded familiar.

The world was thrown into turmoil today when Erika Johnsen, an intern at a blog popular among overweight fat American people, stunningly claimed that she “may have to rethink [her] vote. Er … “not”.

Millions around the world gathered in the streets to celebrate that “not”. It was a signal of Erika’s wit and wisdom. If a writer puts “not” after an assertion, it’s always a good indicator that the writer is very, very funny and witty and wise, and you should take that writer’s assertions seriously. Er, not.

Fat Americans who didn’t do well at school are a curiosity. I’ve been told, on this very blog, that I should put “snark tags” on my comments.

Interesting to note that one of the commenters to Erika’s (completely fantastic and unspeakably memorable) contribution says this:

Because it’s fun to point out Obozo’s disastrous foreign policy gaffes with returning the Churchill bust, etc. Oh yeah, also those same European allies (along with Israel) are important for the fighting the GWOT, the fundamental most important issue of the last dozen years.

John Milius had it exactly right.

Ferris Bueller:”She won’t respect him, ’cause you can’t respect somebody who kisses your ass. It just doesn’t work.”

I’d rather America have that respect, even if it is the kind of respect that a bratty kid gives a tougher kid because he knows the tougher kid can/will kick his butt, than to have Europe “like” us from the empty, ass-kissing platitudes that Obama gives everybody.

If the Europeans hate us, then we are doing the right thing.

If the Europeans love us then we are on the path to a Soylent Green dystopia.

Historically, when Europe hates us, our economy is booming and when they love us we are in a deep recession headed for socialism.
