Video: Obama, in his own words

posted at 10:00 pm on September 11, 2012 by Allahpundit

A few days old and long enough that I haven’t had a chance to watch it all the way through yet, but it’s already over 200,000 views on YouTube and comes recommended by Red State’s Dan McLaughlin.

I’d call it a palate cleanser, but you’re not going to feel clean when this is over.

Romney campaign should cut this video (or make similar videos) into 1 minute videos that highlight all the broken promises and flip-flops. They can get 5-6 videos and target some regionally. The bankrupt-coal-companies video should run in the coal-belt. The ObamaCare hidden tax increases video should run in CT, MA, NH (and those that were blue but now are battleground states ie WI) especially. The angle should be “just another politician that pulled the wool over all of our eyes” and not a “told you so!” admonishment. Put these videos along with all of Romney’s and Ryan’s speeches on their campaign site. In all TV ads, put link to the site. I think they would be devastating.

Also put the fact they proposed a budget plan (several) over last 3 years. Condense the plans into bullet points but have links to specifics. Create video touting their budget proposals while Democratic Senate did nothing.

Finally, there should be videos that layout the conservative fiscal case/principles and its superiority over Keynesian theory. Create video about uniqueness of America (hard working people) and the good it has served the world.
