Artur Davis was absolutely riveting…he took it too Obama, but also laid out exactly what so many dems are thinking…that is “What was I thinking”…he gave them permission to back away, and support Mitt over Obama.

Dad was rather high up in the 1956 Stevenson for President campaign. You can actually se him in the Movie-tone News. My main question is, “How do I get on his list of potential contributors for his next effort at elective office?”

The timing was perfect, and best of all he didn’t become a “conservative” Republican, he maintained that connection to the old true democrats that were so effective at one time.

Which makes perfect sense. Those white people who did vote for Obama to make themselves feel good about American race relations are precisely the kinds of shallow people who would be equally persuaded by a lone conservative black voice telling them “its OK, you’re not racist.” Thankfully, *most* white Obama voters were probably that shallow. Oh pleez. You couldn’t name a single accomplishment of Bambi’s prior to winning that election (other than getting himself elected to other political offices.) No major bills. No major achievement. But he did write two memoirs about everything he didn’t do.

Bambi was a black John Edwards. If he was white he wouldn’t have lasted beyond Iowa.

Thanks for posting those links. I haven’t read all of the articles yet, but enough to have a better understanding of him.

He seems like a sincere and thoughtful person and I think he saw the light, so to speak, a long time ago.

His opinion on Paul Ryan and the Welfare work removal were very well written and his insight is quite refreshing!!

I am utterly offended by Obama’s platform (war on women) for his convention. I am his key demographic; white, educated, upper middle class, his age, from IL, and I despise the empty suit that is our president.

He has reduced women to simply being vessels for free contraception! Don’t you understand that? This is NOT what my mother’s generation fought for! Where is the voice of the female owned/operated company, the female CEO, women in science and math? Noooooo, he just has that shrill Sandra Fluke, who has worked with Pelosi for quite some time–she is no innocent. Fluke most CERTAINLY does not represent me, nor my daughters. All he does is denigrate…I want him and his platform humiliated next week.

He is worried about “a woman’s right to free contraception, free healthcare”. Really? Privacy, too? Hmmm, well if Roe v Wade gave me the “right to privacy” doesn’t Obamacare take away that very right by mandating every aspect of my healthcare?

Truly, Tommyhawk, i do not say this sarcastically, please think about what Obama says…with one hand he gives, with the other he takes. Is this what you want for your daughters–government in every part of their lives, every private decision of their lives? I, most emphatically, do not!

His presence spoke volumes and attested to his courage imo. I can’t imagine his switch was an easy one to make.

It’s too bad the other Networks didn’t show it. However, those that need to see it will hear about it and will search to find out what they missed.

If he runs for ANYTHING here in VA, I will do just that.
